"Booked a table today for 5pm for 6 people my parents arrived at 4:30 and staff let them know where the table was. We then asked for a children’s menu shortly after 5 When we went to order not long later there was hardly any options left for food, everything we wanted to order except most of the children’s meal were unavailable. We understand you can be busy but you had my email and my phone number you could have notified us that you had started to run out of a lot of options. When my parents came in at 4:30 you could have said about getting an order in quick as meals were running low. When we asked for the children’s menu again you could have said not all options were available but again this wasn’t said. I know it was busy and I would expect perhaps this to happen later of an evening but this was only 5pm?! Or if we had been asked to order ahead because it was going to be a really busy afternoon then that would have also been a good idea. When we came back in October it was the same hardly any menu which I thought was a one off but maybe this happens a lot? Staff are pleasant foods been nice when it is available in the past but I just think it needs a lot better organisation and planning and to think about how customers could be better catered for."

"Went today to celebrate a family birthday. Food was absolutely 1st class. Well cooked, well presented. Great value for money. Shanice was our server today and she did an excellent job, there to see if everything was OK but not to intrusive. However i have to say all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a very enjoyable experience. We will certainly be going again. Thank you."

"Staff are friendly and the menu isn't at all bad. But the pub is badly in need of a big refurb. Been going in years and when leather seats are ripped and certain toilets are frequently out of order you know it's overdue money being spent on it. Hint hint brewery put the love in the pub it deserves."
