The food is delicious with a fab range of texture and great flavour combinations (pushing the boat out while avoiding being unappetising). Recommend for meat lovers and veggies alike.”

“Good menu which made it difficult to choose what I wanted to eat but the dishes I picked were definitely a good choice. Service was impeccable and the waiter was helpful in choosing a wine that I could enjoy for my starter and main course. We even managed to get a slice of the infamous custard tart which was delightful.”

Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

“Manchester on a Sunday Morning for Bruch was a lot busier than we thought. Luckily we got a table at Idle Hands. I'm super glad we did. Lovely atmosphere. We ordered and shared: Meaty Hash Brown Stack and Divorced Eggs. Both tasted fantastic. Food came quickly and was presented like a work of art. It was so good, I really can't recommend it enough. I ordered one of their famous pies and can tell why. I got the Banana Milk Pie and it was so light and creamy. Top marks.”

“Strines Nightingale shows their is hope for an incredible venue, after death by annexed strangulation, that has been dished out by the corporate drinks industry to the independent pubs in the High Peaks. There’s nowhere you’d rather be locally. The type of place you’ll realise makes you want to relocate to the area. All whilst listening to music worthy of James Ford short. It’s effortless. You won’t be disappointed. A credit to the area.”

“Photos are from various visits. This is just the best venue for music in Manchester. We mainly go for the BBC Philharmonic and the Halle. It's a really nice, cosy and welcoming place, making it more accessible for everyone to enjoy orchestral music.”
