“Went out for dinner last night at Bodega and was absolutly blown away by the quality of the food!! Highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wings, Lamb dishes and the Muscles. “We were looking for a cosy pub to wait out the worst of a rainstorm and Church Inn was absolutely perfect! We were lucky enough to be in on the last day of their festive menu, which was both extremely tasty and great bang for buck. The staff were so polite and attentive despite clearly being very busy, and the decor is was beautiful. Dog friendly too!”

“Staff was super friendly and very helpful. We’ve missed our breakfast as we overslept but they still managed to get us something to eat. Room was very comfortable and I loved the quirky design. Great place to stay. The surroundings are stunning, you’re in the middle of a beautiful park after all. Totally recommend”

“(Oct 2022 update) Since last review new landlord now in situ. All change under the new team! Certainly more or additional televisions showing football when I called in. This is still a great local pub in Cheadle village. A great range of Hyde's beers at a very reasonable prices. Well worth trying to see the changes & sample some excellent beer.”

“Came to the shakedown in Cheadle and wasn’t let down. Burgers were incredible, Cajun fries with spicy Mayo were amazing and the milkshakes seem to last forever and taste really good. Best fast food joint I’ve ever been to I could not recommend more.”

“Great pub this. We only called in for an hour and stayed all night. Nice to see really good entertainment on. The Committee band really worked hard and played all the dance floor hits. The girl singer was amazing and they seemed to be on all night. Let us know when next they are on and we’ll be there. The staff were very polite and really got into the music. Great vibe. “Delightful staff that is always willing to help, a hearty helping of a delectable carvery, pizza, and burgers, with exactly what I asked for of each meal, made for the best lunch I ever had. I look forward to going there every weekend, they not only told us about the meal deals for the week, but also told us about the discounted dessert value meal, anyone who placed an order with us inquired about our allergies, which was a first-time for us. extremely skilled, we would certainly return because both the food and the beer were excellent.”

“Always amazing food and their new interior renovation makes the pub feel incredibly warm. Prices are good for the food quality and anything you order is exactly as you would want it etc the chips are soft on the inside hard on the outside.”
