“THE WAY HAJJ AND UMRAH SHOULD BE DONE! I went to Umrah in the last 10 days of Ramadhan through Hissar Travel. I dealt with brother Salih who helped me and guided me along each step. I had a hassle & stress free experience from start to finish. I had my transfers from airport to hotel and Madinah to Makkah arranged with out any struggle. Hissar Travel was in touch with me through the trip and had english speaking guides which was really helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

Having lucked out on getting a table after 2 years of living nearby, I relished the chance to review them. The space is warm but snug. Large parties will struggle especially with COVID restrictions. Not an issue in summer, but a possible one in Winter. They’re dog friendly as they have some seating outside, so please specify this when booking. Onto the primi piatti! Expect luscious pasta cooked to the correct side of al dente. It seems to inhale the sauces that make use of the starch and premium stock in lieu of cream. All making for a far more palatable meal. And the sauce. The term does not do the flavours and texture justice. The melange of spices and components be they vegetarian or not, are sublime. Just a taste of the seafood pasta alone conveyed everything in one bite. Not to be outdone, their beverage selection is nothing short of brilliant. The chinotto brought back fond memories of Kinni cola. Sadly I did not have time to partake of dolce but will endeavour to do so next time.”

“I was very apprehensive of booking umrah with a toddler and from day one I was reassured by brother Amr how he would coordinate most of the trip to give least stress to myself. I can absolutely confirm this umrah experience during Feb half term 2023 was thoroughly organised well by Mayar travel and everything went smoothly alhamdulila. I had no hassle at any of the hotels for check in as brother Amr had organised the rooms in advance and to be ready. The airport service was greatly organised and having a driver was very convenient. I was able to focus on my umrah and toddler and had a great sense of peace knowing brother Amr was a WhatsApp message away for any support and help. I would 100% recommend Mayar travel and it was a beautiful memory for us. JazakAllah Khayr.”

Just wished our plans gave us the opportunity to enjoy the premises for longer. “Popped in to use the bar as we were waiting for teens to finish a birthday meal across the road. There was nowhere open to grab a coffee at 6.30pm on a snowy December eve. Although we were not dining in we were welcomed as any guest and the service was excellent even if it was for only 2 coffees and a beer. We are looking forward to coming back for a meal soon. “OMG..! For a Monday night in Altrinham.. Abso fab tea time 'sesh' with Emma behind the bar.. So attentive to customers needs.. Customers soooo.. Friendly.. Was only planning on staying for one pint but the 'oirish.. Craic...' was so wonderful that we ended up staying for four pints each.. Shame no real ale but neck oil beer very tasty.. Carlsberg available for lager drinkers.. Deffo wanna return...”

“What a lovely restaurant. I went with the In Laws so we had a table of 4. Service was exceptional and they couldn’t do enough for you. Drinks came quick and they were always asking if we are ok. The interior was lovely and a chilled vibe to the place. Having never had Sri Lankan food I didn’t know what to expect. It’s kinda like Indian but more spicier so be prepared. We really enjoyed it. Will go again very soon and will look to see if they do take out because I would prefer it to an Indian on a Saturday night at home. This restaurant was a very welcome surprise you won’t be disappointed.”

“Booked a room for one night and parking whilst away on holiday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the process could not have been easier. The room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making, nice fluffy towels and piping hot shower with on site restaurant for extra convenience. Taxi to and from airport included in the price, which was cheaper than airport parking alone. We went away knowing my car was secure, having heard horror stories of cars being used whilst owners on holiday. Can highly recommend and will definitely be using again, Thank you to all the staff you're a credit to the company.”
