We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. “I booked the Maldron for my cousins 50th birthday and was impressed from start to finish. I checked in on line the day before, so everything was ready for us when we arrived. The reception staff were lovely, very friendly and courteous and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was ready when we arrived and were very pleased with our allocated room and although we could see train line from our window we never heard any trains. My sister in law wanted some extra coffee and a couple of extra hangers and we had only just put the phone down to reception and someone was knocking on our door with requested items.. First class customer service. We had booked breakfast for our stay and we were both very impressed with the quality and selection available. The staff in the restaurant were also very pleasant and helpful and took the time check everything was as we liked. I would recommend the breakfast to anyone. We chose the hotel for its location to the train station and restaurants and bars we were frequenting over the weekend. Had a fabulous time and was very impressed with the hotel and its staff.”

“Great hotel. Reasonable price. Room was very nice and clean !! The bed was very comfy. Had a very good night sleep. The only downfall was breakfast. The queue was big and took a while to sit down. Also during breakfast the kids from other families kept filling up their plates to the full which meant we had to wait a while to get any bread and Cereal. Also they had no soy milk !! Reason for the 5 star is that this is the first premier inn I have stayed in which has not been a nightmare to stay in. Would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone as the rooms themselves compensate”

“I have been in the Brewers twice recently. Its very nicely decorated and comfortable inside. The Cocktails are 2 for 1 which is fab. On a nice day you can sit outside and the atmosphere in the village is vibrant and fun.”

“Went for the New Year's evening night and it was amazing. The bar staff were amazing and the live singers were brilliant, they covered music from the 40s all the way up to the 90s. If you are looking for event singers then these sisters are the ones to book. Picture attached has the info.”

“I would recommend the comedy store any day of the week. Staff were pleasant . Place was clean and tidy and in a prime location near to other events in the heart of Manchester. Its quite a large venue which could seat around 200 people as an estimate. maybe they offer to hire out the venue? i dont know but its worth mentioning. Would be back very soon. House beer was great!! Enjoy it!!!!”

However the thing that I appreciated the most was the support from the staff throughout the whole day. “I thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay at this wonderful hotel. In particular the staff, Alex and team, were amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Bear in mind this is an old building and some of the rooms are in need of a little bit of TLC but the views are fantastic and it's great to be able to stay in an iconic example of 60s modernist architecture. The restaurant and breakfast area particularly stylish. I would definitely recommend - worth requesting a more recently refurbished room if you do so.”
