“My daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson took me here tonight for my birthday meal. My son in law is vegan and for the first time in ages managed to have a starter and a main course which didn't involved a burger! My sea bream was delicious. They kindly cooked my grandson's main course whilst the adults were on starters. The waiter was excellent and the food was well cooked and very tasty. My grandson would like to know where all the money has gone as he and Daddy went to the toilet in the safe and he couldn't see any cash!”

“If you want authentic locally sourced 'pub grub' then this definitely is the place to go. The place is up in the hills and on entry you'll notice the old fashioned, authentic surroundings. It's very warm, lit by a woodburning fire has great beer, friendly service and delicious food. We'll be back thats for sure. Ps here's a tip.. Parking is a nightmare!! The car park is very small and surroundings are quite restricted due to residential housing and hills, expect your car to get dirty and don't drive up your brand new whip”

“Very authentic decor and super tasty Vietnamese food, the owner/staff really polite and helpful. We have tried few things and we like all of them. Highly recommend the Pendan tea and iced coffee as well! Will definitely come back to try more things.”

“Super pub, a proper local. Only place in Chadderton town centre where you can get a good pint of real ale. Great friendly atmosphere too. The “Khartoum” is back to what it always was, the best pub in the area.”

“Great place, I’m so glad we found it this time. Google maps sends you to a road in Shaw. So ensure you type in the actual address when wanting to come here and not click directions from google :) it will save you a 20 mins drive lol Great service, food is top notch, prices are good with a great atmosphere. Definitely will be back. They have gluten free bread. Although not celiac friendly, as the kitchen is not set up for A gluten free station. They did ensure the bread was grilled away from the areas wheat had touched. Kids menu available and also a Dog menu too. The staff were really helpful.”

“Fabulous food & lovely atmosphere, it was our first visit here & we'll definitely return. We tried the pizza's but the Italian standard dishes that everyone else were ordering looked fantastic. The decor is a little dated but if you value food quality over a restaurant "looking modern" then definitely go here.”

“Family run pub with amazing food and a fantastic selection of drinks. If you're looking for a good night out with welcoming staff and locals or a really nice meal, I honestly can't recommend this place enough. The food is all cooked in house and sourced locally, you can really tell a lot of passion goes into the kitchen here.”

“Food is lovely. Expensive for what it is and somewhat over priced. The staff try and be too technical and insist on taking orders on ipads. They don't accept cash which is a problem when I have been in the past and the system stops working. The food is lovely so it definitely compensates although not something you most afford to do regular. Great for couples etc. But would definitely be far too expensive to go with a family and children. Although there is seating outside none of the inside is wheelchair accessible if you wanted to keep warm. Very young staff for the most part but lovely.”

“Oh my god, this is the best kebab I've ever eaten in my entire life. I'm from out of the area so looked up local takeaways on just eat and I'm glad I chose to order here. The meat is like nothing I've ever tasted and the guys behind the counter couldn't have been anymore friendlier. Even threw in a free drink for my son. I'm very impressed and will definitely be back when I'm next in the area. Mind = blown!”

“Really good meal. Flavours were excellent (although some dishes very spicy). I think what made it so great was the really attentive service. Everyone was very attentive and organised. We sat in the bar stools in the window and it made a change as well as we could people watch. Will definitely be returning!”

“Being new to the area, I thought I'd give this place a try and wow what a great Chinese takeaway! Food was delivered on time and all aspects of it were absolutely spot on, not greasy and tasteless at all (as I find many Chinese takeaways usually are). “This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day.
