"If you want a lovely steak meal in a lovely country place you should go here at least once. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Food is awesome. We attempted the 3 course Sunday Lunch for £15 but only just about managed 2 courses. The portion sizes are bigger than average. It's such a wonderful place with a fabulous atmosphere"

"If you want authentic locally sourced 'pub grub' then this definitely is the place to go. The place is up in the hills and on entry you'll notice the old fashioned, authentic surroundings. It's very warm, lit by a woodburning fire has great beer, friendly service and delicious food. We'll be back thats for sure. Ps here's a tip.. Parking is a nightmare!! The car park is very small and surroundings are quite restricted due to residential housing and hills, expect your car to get dirty and don't drive up your brand new whip"
