SMASH'D
“Honestly better than Five Guys for a fraction of the price! The burgers are insanely delicious! And the chips were crispy but still fluffy on the inside! Absolutely belting and we will definitely be back!”
Sul Lago Restaurant
“This is the best italian restaurant in the area. The service is fab and the food. Most of the staff have been there a long time which shows they are treated right. One of the staff members stands out, Claire she is super friendly and fantastic at her job, thank you for always making us feel welcome.”
Trunk Lounge
“We visited the restaurant yesterday as part of a large party. The food was excellent and the service perfect. The staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Will definitely be coming back soon and would recommend for a quiet meal or as a large family.”
Ree Ming
“Speedy pleasant service, food so tasty I'd sell my granny to buy more. Looking forward to the £17 sharing box, but I don't want to share it!! Highly recommend”
Desi Lounge Restaurant
“Really nice, a bit busy as it was the last day of 50% off, food and atmosphere great. Female server forgot about us and didn't bring us our wine but it was busy. We will go again”

“Food was delicious and really fresh, will definitely be returning.”
Tortuga Droylsden
“Absolutely delicious food with wonderful service. My partner and I both had the mini mix grill and it was very tasty. Great value for money with a lovely environment and friendly staff. The manager really knows his stuff and is such a gentleman. Will be going back for sure.”
Hazel's
“Best sandwich shop in the area. I used to go Martins bakery over the road but after trying hazels once I swapped over. Hazels puts more fillings on my butty and is cheaper. I like the fact hazels cuts ham straight off the joint rather than using ham from a packet. It just taste better and is better value. I'm a regular customer now.”
Love Food Indian Restaurant
“Love this place amazing food and great host family run so friendly and welcomeing. Highly recommended”
Little Lanka Restaurant
“Had an awesome Kottu and Sri Lankan food experience after some time. We live in Leeds and have not been able to find any Sri Lankan restaurants around here. Found this little gem which is about 1 and half hours away but it was worth the trip. The Kottu was great and had an authentic taste to it. Can recommend and will be visiting again.”
Mister Ali's Tandoori & Balti Cuisine
“Ordered from Mr Ali’s for the first time today and will definitely be our go to Indian takeaway from now on! They offer a 15% off on takeaway orders which is an added bonus :) We ordered a collection and when we got home noticed we were missing a portion of chips and we called them and they resolved the issue straight away and within 10 minutes they delivered a portion of chips! They even put onion bhajis in the bag as an apology! Cannot fault this place at all. Great quality food, great customer service! 10/10 recommend.”
Chinese 203
“Excellent food, all cooked fresh. Best bit is you just order as you want it rather than your usual buffet style thats been sitting there for hours. Highly reccomend”
Laros Greek
“I've never been to Greece but I felt Greek after eating that. It was beautiful. hottest day of the year (38°c) this was needed. Pictures don't do it justice it was quality. Ordered through Deliveroo”
SUD Pasta Ancoats
“Sugo was recommended to me as a must eat when visiting Manchester and it did not disappoint. All of the food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. I’d really recommend the Cavatelli ‘verdure’ for main and the burrata. The restaurant was really busy, and had a good atmosphere and prices were really affordable given the quality of the food. Would book again next time I’m here!”
Giuliano Italian Restaurant
“Great food , staff and well priced . No complaints at all . Would book in advance for weekends , can be noisy as accommodates families , which is great. Would highly recommend”
Cafe Salento
“This place is amazing lovely food cakes and a good cup of tea or coffee definitely worth a visit”
Hitchki
“This is as good as it gets. Perfeclty cooked mixed grill starter, out-of-this-world garlic prawns, amazing curries, and fresh naans. Maybe the portions could have been a bit bigger, but you cannot complain because everything is so high-quality that the value for money beyond question. I will dream of this food. Very good staff make you feel looked after. Can't recommend it highly enough. No wonder it was almost full on a Wednesday evening.”
Armenian Taverna & Restaurant
“A triple celebration found us heading for the Taverna. Although we had not booked ahead, the staff kindly accommodated us. The atmosphere was buzzing! Several languages could be heard amongst the diners. The food was divine and the selection of Armenian wines etc interesting. Look forward to returning.”
Jafra Restaurant مطعم جفرا
“We visited Jafra last week after walking past it several times. Menu is easy with many options. We had the 5-item Mezze which came with warm bread. This was amazing as a starter and we kept this as a side whilst having mains. For main, we had the Mixed Grill- nice and tender meat. We also tried Manakeesh which is a Palestinian bakery item. We haven't tried anything similar before, taste was a bit overpowering but it was a new experience nevertheless. The atmosphere inside was great, expect local Palestinian music. Service was great start to finish. Food didn't take long to arrive. I would highly recommend Jafra, and I'd go back again.”
The Prachee Indian restaurant
“Unbelievable place to visit. Great food and great service from great staff. Well worth the trip from North Yorkshire”
Bombay Flavours
“Love this place! Ten of us recently celebrated my husband's birthday here and the wonderful staff could not do enough for us! Thank you so much. Great food, as always and really reasonable prices. We shall be back.”
Turkman Grill
“Very very nice food, bit pricey and not even customer toilets. It's just down the road (near my) home by [20 minutes] walking, good for exercise and losing weight down too. I'm respectful and kind to staffs ower.”
The Lime Tree
“One of the best and most under-appreciated restaurants in Manchester, this. The food quality is always fantastic. The type of food is higher-end, with a varying and imaginative (but not pretentious) seasonal menu. My family has eaten here for years, and the highest standards are always upheld. Looking forward to eating here again!”
Pomegranate Restaurant
“Excellent food and service. The restaurant has a good, relaxed atmosphere and a good ambience. The quality of food is matched by the quality of service. I will definitely be visiting again.”
Vincenzo Trattoria
“Just walk-in to this restaurant around the corner of city center, a small entrance and it’s not big inside. Luckily not many people on Sunday afternoon. Very traditional and classic Italian style decor inside for dining area, with an English bar table reception. A number of choices on wine and drinks, but would love to see more selection for red wine. Several choices on starter, ranging from soup to bread and salad mostly. Didn’t tried the main, but the pasta section is enough to pick your favourable one although don’t know why risotto is classified under pasta. Food quality is exceptionally good. Of course you can’t compare it to those Michelin 3 stars restaurant as the price for food in this restaurant is more affordable. But considering the price and food quality, it is very value for money. I tried the Ravioli All’ Ara Gosta, it’s like Tortellini with Lobster meat crunch inside. Very special and good match with tomato and bisque sauce. The minestrone soup is rich with vegetables which I recommend personally. I don’t like the Pate much as the chicken liver taste very different from Foie gras, but given it is my first time to try chicken liver, why not give myself a trial.”
Remal Restaurant
“I don't know why I travel all the way into Manchester City Centre when there are local places like this!! This place is a hidden gem! My friend ordered the potato kibbeh - these were small and delightful with a thin crusty texture on the outside and the mashed potato and lamb mince on the inside. I ordered the sucuk, thin slices of a spicy beef sausage - the flavours were strong and moreish. These were served with a basket of homemade white flatbread which were incredibly fresh and soft - they were pitta shaped but were fluffy and pillowy, not the hard dry white stuff you get in supermarkets! The waiter assured us that there was always plenty of bread available and sure enough we had another basket of lovely bread with our main courses. We both ordered the Chef's Mix which were skewers of charcoal grilled marinated meats - chicken, minced lamb and lamb shish pieces, served on a bed of onions and parsley and a chilli sauce. We also ordered a mudjadara rice between us as a side dish - a mix of lentils and rice cooked in spices and topped with crispy fried leeks. Yummy. We both agreed that although the flavour profile of the meats were quite similar to other nearby places (e.g. Turkish restaurants), the seasoning was better balanced here and most importantly, the cooking of the meat was excellent. Here, the chicken was succulent and tender, not dry and hard, and overall it looks like they know when to take it off the grill! At other places the charcoal grilling has left the meat hard and burnt at the edges with a bitterness - here everything was cooked just right. Although we were stuffed and were only considering an Arabic coffee, we both encouraged each other to go for a dessert. Unfortunately my friend's Halwa wasn't available so he joined me in a Muhallebia. Now normally I'm not one to bother with a dessert - I prefer crisps to chocolates and would rather have starter and main instead of main and dessert! And we were already incredibly stuffed! But this dessert blew my mind - a delicious milky pudding, not too dissimilar to a panna cotta but fluffier and less silky in texture. However, the flavours - wow the sweet vanilla with a tint of rose water, it was truly heaven and I haven't felt that way about any dessert for years! Garnished with chopped pistachios, this was for me the surprise star of the meal! Followed by strong and fragrant Arabic coffee, it was a fantastic end to a great dining experience. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and I thought the decor, lighting and music was just perfect for the place. I highly recommend this place - it's small and relaxed and deserves attention. I hope it keeps these high standards up as I definitely want to come back and try the other offerings (and the Muhallebia again!).”
Titos Asian Grill Indian
“I went with my family for dinner. Food was very authentic and the way we get it in India. Great service, food was very tasty and full of flavours. Highly recommend”
