“Visited in the morning with a friend for some breakfast. We ordered the English breakfast and the desi one. Both were very hearty. A very warm welcome from the staff, service was great and overall a lovely place. Will definitely recommend and I'll coming back again. We finished off with dessert. “Really nice lil cafe, friendly staff, the coffee here is amaaaaazingly good a must try also the food looks top drawer!!! Chris and his partner the owners really nice down to earth people, if your in Uppermill pls go find this lovely lil hidden cafe entrance is on the front and go downstairs really well appointed estab sit on the river and forget about the daily grind also some under canope seating if the weather's not the best.”

“If you want authentic locally sourced 'pub grub' then this definitely is the place to go. The place is up in the hills and on entry you'll notice the old fashioned, authentic surroundings. It's very warm, lit by a woodburning fire has great beer, friendly service and delicious food. We'll be back thats for sure. Ps here's a tip.. Parking is a nightmare!! The car park is very small and surroundings are quite restricted due to residential housing and hills, expect your car to get dirty and don't drive up your brand new whip”

“Superb food, great dining experience and friendly staff. Never had a bad experience. All the staff are very welcoming and remember faces which is always a nice touch. Two of my favourite menu items (Rabbit starter and Beef Short Rib Starter) have been removed, but you are still inundated with choice. Servings are also great for an Italian. When you are inside, you actually forget that you are in Oldham. Highly recommended.”

“This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day. “This is a lovely, authentic (quirky), little Italian in Delph village. Lorenzo knows how to cook! If you want somewhere more authentic than a modern, standard restaurant with a huge menu, you really should give it a try, and support a small, local business. The pizzas are always great (no stuffed crust nonsense here) and the special, home made burger (2 delicious burgers in fact, in home made sourdough, not some floppy brioche, with skinny fries and slaw), was excellent. There's a review from a while back that refers to frozen food; absolute nonsense. Everything home made and cooked to order. Great food and service!”
