“We chose Hilltop Country House as our wedding venue back in 2020 for our June 2022 wedding. It is perfection - the staff, the food & drink, the surroundings, etc. Our wedding day was simply magical. Clare was available for us whenever we needed her - nothing was ever too much and it made the wedding planning so enjoyable! I would highly, highly, highly recommend Hilltop Country House - there is a reason it has been voted the best wedding venue in Cheshire!”

“Great place to have a couple of drinks and play pool/snooker. They often show football games too. Definitely worth getting a membership if you go there a couple of times as you get this discounts am a number of things. Prices are for and the food offered is good quality too. Would definitely recommend.”

“If this was in the Lake District it would be a star attraction. Fortunately it isn't, so it remains very quiet and relatively unvisited. The approach from Bollington, past the derelict and dangerous Ingersley Mill, is interesting but worth it. Combine it with walks through Rainow, along Kerridge Hill and a visit to White Nancy and you have an excellent outing. But don't tell too many people otherwise it will lose its quiet charm.”

“We had the most amazing bacon & egg butties this week. The service was excellent, the staff welcoming and the pub itself is clean and cosy. We took our dog with us and she was made very welcome and enjoyed the biscuits they gave her! Would highly recommend and will be visiting to try the Sunday lunch now!”

“Visited Coast for lunch today and was greeted by a very friendly member of staff who showed us to our lovely table in the conservatory part of the restaurant. Drinks were served very quickly which was good. Water was served as an addition without asking. We shared a pate starter followed by Risotto and a Pizza. The staff were very attentative and could not do enough.”

The property was beautiful and I left with the commitment to return as soon as possible. I 100% recommend staying at Mottram Hall and enjoying everything they have to offer. “Quick overview for three night stay with young child. Very helpful & efficient reception/check-in. Beautiful, clean, warm, well serviced bedroom. The only hot food available is bar food in the cafe. Such a let down! The little one largely only eats pasta & they ran out..crisis! Fabulous health club…surely the Spa bath is the most perfect in the country? Big, v warm, comfortable, sublime setup inc lighting/setting. Overall strongly recommend.”

“I had a work conference at this place. Beautiful building and very open grounds. Room was nice and modern but I heard they have some older looking ones too. Staff were helpful, friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. A bit pricey but I'd probably go again.”

“Visited the Five ways for an afternoon buffet following a funeral. The bar staff were attentive and professional, dealing with the initial rush quickly. I've not been in this pub for 40 years or more and was pleasently surprised how smart and comfortable the place had become.......the buffet was the usual fare but tasty and varied. “Can't fault them. Came here with my kids for a relative's son's birthday. They had a great time. It's also very spacious and very clean. Staff were extremely nice. My son was ill in the car before we arrived. They couldn't have been more helpful in getting him, me and the car cleaned up. Thank you.”

“We just had a 3 day , 2 night family gathering here for 12 people and 4 dogs. We received exceptional treatment, nothing was too much trouble. We all had afternoon teas which were absolutely amazing, and we had lovely evening meals too. The rooms were all lovely and clean, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. The staff (in particular Sean & Loraine.) Have wonderful customer service skills, and make you feel very special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, its A true hidden gem.”
