“I have used Autotechnic since I moved to the area 6 years ago. Coincidentally, we own 2 Audi’s and having a German car specialist on our doorstep was way too good an opportunity to turn down so we gave them a go. What we didn’t realise at the time was that Steve & Andy run such a top garage and we have not been anywhere else since. We use them for all servicing and all repairs for our cars, I actually rate them better than the Audi garages. They are really knowledgeable and have the diagnostic equipment required for Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Mini’s. They also undercut the dealership garages so the work is always great value. Above all, they are so honest and care about their customers & community - on numerous occasions I’ve personally had them take care of an issue that turned out to be minor and they have refused to take any money. A top group of people - I highly recommend.”

“I visited Sand for the first time today after a pretty awful experience at another salon. Linda got my hair back to the exact colour I was after and she was so lovely! The gentleman who dried and straightened my hair afterwards was also lovely (so sorry I forgot your name!). The salon itself is gorgeous, really peaceful, really clean and exactly what you’d want from a salon. “Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“I had an issue with vibration in my car, which seemed to be coming from my brake pedal. They thoroughly inspected the brakes and pads which turned out to be fine. They persevered and detected a fault with one of my sensors. They were very knowlegeable, explaining in great detail what caused it and how to resolve the problem. This garage is outstanding, they really care about customer service and are prepared to go the extra mile! There are very few businesses left that you can trust, but I fully recommend anybody to use this honest establishment.”
