“First time, wanted to visit for ages. Greetings very good, no fuss to the table. Drinks ordered (thanks for the large prosecco). Italian tapas style so for four we had 11 dishes, they come out when they are ready. All dishes really tasty, well seasoned and a good variety. Service excellent, thanks to the team”

“We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. “Visited Belgian Bar yesterday for the first time and I was astonished about the level of customer service received. Nothing was too much trouble, staff was super friendly (they found a perfect balance of being friendly and not overload the customer with kindness). Although someone went beyond and above to make our table happy and that was David. I have asked for mocktail (not on the menu) thinking I might be faced with 'no' as it happened in few places already, but for David that was not a problem. All evening he was making me the most amazing drinks I could possibly imagine. Blends, taste and attention to details... just wow!!! Thank you so much for accommodating my needs. Left the bar super happy You guys should put those on the menu. Let other people taste what I did!”

“This cafe is well talked about and very popular with the locals. It's a hidden gem of Stockport. If you like a Sunday afternoon tea this is the place. Lots of little cakes and good quality tea, the thing to have is the teared plates. But will set you back 15 per person. But well worth it. Little sandwiches. Nice. It's all art deco... so it makes you feel like you should dress up to visit!! Service is quite posh here. Love the 1930 feel.”

“Lovely little bar in the middle of Heaton Moor. Whether it's a coffee or a beer this is the place to go. It's only small but super cosy. Dog friendly too. Staff are super helpful and friendly.”

“Great location by an airfield. We did Ring Of Red around Manchester and called in here for a very welcome cuppa. Incredibly busy with lots of red clad bikers, like we do when we impersonate a giant poppy, ha. Long queue, but on the ball staff who served efficiently. Tea was good and not UHT either, whuuup, whuuuppp. Loads of seating inside and out with great views of a very active airfield. First time here, I'll be back.”

“We have visited The Hare and Hounds twice in the past week. Once on Sunday for lunch and on Tuesday night for quiz night. Both times we were made to feel very welcome. Food was good. Staff were friendly and there was a nice buzz about the place. The only slight downside is the toilet that is cold and needs decorating. Our dog Milo loved it too.”
