“So my review is me just me doing a flying visit as we delivered an entrance easel and our baby boxes which we (Bolton Balloon Fairies) provide to hire. Upon entry you get the warmth family feeling, the decor is modern, the staff were very friendly and there was ample space to hold an occasion, there is an easy accessible wheelchair entrance and I would definitely recommend taking a visit whether it be for a drink, family meal or to have an occasion. A very well looked after place and was very clean.”

“Great old pub to call in for a pint. Recently survived a redevelopment project which would have seen the pub wiped from the map. Definitely worth a visit friendly staff relaxed atmosphere.”

“Visited this bar today as was meeting up with a friend staying in the Innside Hotel. Nice bar. Well spaced out and comfortable seating. Good selection of beers and I would recommend the Spruce Black IPA. Music was a little loud but it was a Saturday night so to be expected. Good sized disabled toilet which was easy to get too. Would like to revisit in the summer to sit outside.”

“We had alovely meal today. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The pub was lovely and clean. We didn't wait long for are food. 2 of us had fish and chips which were very nice. 1 mushroom pie which also very tasty. And chicken new yorker. We all had cheesecake which just finished off our meal. Will be visiting again soon.”

“Took my neices and nephew tonight for a birthday meal and was very impressed. Was a beautiful setting and the man looking after us popped us in a quiet booth making it feel special and he couldn’t have been more attentive. Food was lovely too. Great little place.”

“Great little pub with friendly staff and very reasonable pricing. I often buy vouchers for my parents as a treat and they always have a good time and really enjoy the food. A little gem tucked away next to Golden Days garden centre. Would highly recommend.”

“Went last night (15/4/22) We went to watch the act that was on (Undecided) never been before had a fabulous night. Staff really friendly and the people who sat at the same table as us made our night. Great atmosphere would highly recommend for a night out.”

“Large pub serving the usual beers lagers etc ,great atmosphere when I visited with karaoke on at the time, staff were very friendly and efficient and a nice decor with some areas with comfy sofas ,located on the junction of Hyde Road and Ashton Road at Crown Point Denton, served by stagecoach buses from Hyde Ashton under lyne and Manchester being the 201 202 344 345 and 347. With bus stops from all directions less than 2 minutes walk, pop in have pint or 2.”

“I have not been in the Jolly Hatters for years. As the Jolly is so close to our home and it was my husband's birthday we thought we would give it a go. It was a lovely evening.... full of old neighbours we had not seen in ages. The Pub was clean and tidy and nicely decorated. Tuesday night was a quiz night which we were unaware of, however we were invited to take part. We will be visiting again very soon.”

“A lovely, warm and welcoming pub with a great atmosphere. We had a great night, with an excellent service by very attentive staff. We didn't have to wait long for the food we ordered which was cooked perfect and served piping hot. Along with a few of JWL finest beers, overall a very nice experience and we will definitely be back. A very well managed pub.”
