“Close Park is a delightful area of sculpted land and wilderness. The land originally belonged to the Bealey Family who donated it to the public. There's a wonderful children's play area, a sensory garden, a huge field to walk dogs and there's also the ruins of Radcliffe Tower.”

“A well loved park with lots of things to do. A community group looks after the park and arranges regular events that anyone can attend. It has Green Cafe which can be used by the local community groups, a bowling club, tennis club, play area, Secret Garden and lots of other things! All in all a very nice place to go and be!”

“Went look for bathroom ideas, a member of staff was really helpful, I even got ideas for the Kitchen. We have renovated 3 of our properties over the last 30 years, and B & Q always had something new and innovative.”

“nice hotel in lovely grounds plenty of walks the hotel is dog friendly we didn't have a dog with us but a friend we met there did. all the staff were friendly and helpful the room was clean and well-equipped breakfast was amazing and we made use of the spa that was attached to hotel and enjoyed a swim. It's in a great location and we will return in 2023”

“I stayed during the Harry Styles concert and I must say, this hotel is a bargain for how great it is! It is right beside a petrol garage, 24hours asdas, mcdonalds, burger king and the list goes on! When we stayed it was very warm and they even provided a desk fan which was nice. Also fresh towels. Staff were lovely and the check in and out was very easy. Parking was also very good, it was nice to feel at ease knowing our car was parked in a nice safe place right outside!”
