“My friends and I visited Chilli Banana in Cheadle which is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition. The moment I stepped through their doors, I was transported back to the aromas of Bangkok also the décor adds that little extra. Their menu is a tantalising mix of classic dishes and unique creations, all made with the freshest and most flavourful ingredients. The standout dish for me was their Pad Thai, which was not only beautifully presented but packed with a perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy flavours. The stir-fried noodles were perfectly cooked and combined with a delicious sauce and a generous serving of juicy prawns, vegetables and peanuts. It was simply divine. The Green Curry, which was a true flavour explosion in my mouth. The creamy, spicy sauce was infused with the bold flavours of lemongrass, ginger and basil, and the tender chicken was cooked to perfection. It was a true feast for the senses. I was also impressed by the warm and friendly service at Chilli Banana. Chilli Banana is a fantastic Thai takeaway that offers delicious food, great service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for an authentic Thai experience, look no further than Chilli Banana. I highly recommend it.”

“Went out for dinner last night at Bodega and was absolutly blown away by the quality of the food!! Highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wings, Lamb dishes and the Muscles. Service was really friendly and the food came in good time. Can't wait to go back again and try some more of the dishes. 10/10!”

“I have so carried away with my gluten free burger I did not add photo's from my meal.... however please be aware the high level of customer service, a relaxed chill out vibe, great ambience in the centre of Cheadle, additionally the decor in the restaurant. “Celebrated a birthday with work and the food and service were incredible! Food was cooked fresh with good size portions. The owner and staff went out of their way to serve us and provide our order. I'd recommend the chicken jalfrezi. A top night!”

I went there a couple of weeks ago & found it friendly, updated & the new owners trying so hard to make it work. Food lovely and staff helpful. “Great service, friendly staff. The place was busy and a good atmosphere with a live singer on Saturday night. The food was amazing, I had the grill Ribeye which was stunning, my partner had the salmon which was a very good size and cooked very well. The desserts were enjoyable and the cocktails were good. Excellent choice of wine for a good price and I would recommend the montepulciano.”

“Really enjoy this place the food is brilliant and the venue itself is really nice, plenty of seating areas, nice decor. I visit here regularly for either the PubQuiz night (Weds 8pm) or for family occasions. The staff are amazing, very accommodating and always make you feel welcome and comfortable.”

“Ordered five meals, everyone was dead pleased with what they got. Burgers are big and tasty without being too heavy and stodgy. Fries are fat and delicious; the seasoning was lovely. Oh and the wings! Had both buffalo and BBQ. If you're in a quandary and not sure which to get, just treat yourself and get both. Staff were cheerful and attentive, shop was clean. “(Oct 2022 update) Since last review new landlord now in situ. All change under the new team! Certainly more or additional televisions showing football when I called in. This is still a great local pub in Cheadle village. A great range of Hyde's beers at a very reasonable prices. Well worth trying to see the changes & sample some excellent beer.”

“Delightful staff that is always willing to help, a hearty helping of a delectable carvery, pizza, and burgers, with exactly what I asked for of each meal, made for the best lunch I ever had. I look forward to going there every weekend, they not only told us about the meal deals for the week, but also told us about the discounted dessert value meal, anyone who placed an order with us inquired about our allergies, which was a first-time for us. extremely skilled, we would certainly return because both the food and the beer were excellent.”
