“Popped into Randalls earlier today with my son to get the straps on two of his watches adjusted. We were greeted by two of the nicest, most helpful people I have come across in a shop for quite some time! Both watches adjusted and now my son can enjoy his 21st Birthday present as it fits perfectly. Wonderful service and lovely people- thank you!”

“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“What a hidden gem this place is. Went for a mates 40th and it was like stepping into pheonix nights, totally loved it. The DJ was 70 odd, but he was spinning some right tunes. Thanks for a great night”

“Lovely little place we stumbled across when walking down the canal. Fresh pizzas, the dough brought from the main kitchen in Sale but soon they will be making in house in Altrincham too. We got the margarita, vegetarian and parmesan mozerella pizza and it was probably some of the best pizza I have had around, reminds me of the pizza we had in Sorrento and Napoli. Not too heavy, but filling. The kids loved the pizza and we did too. Definitely coming back here regularly.”

“I can not recommend this guy highly enough. I found him originally by Googling him, and thought he looked reliable, and have found him to be extremely so. The first time I rang him a few months ago: I needed an emergency plumber. John was tied up at the time, but recommended someone else who came and got the job done. Yesterday, I again needed an emergency plumber for a different problem and luckily John was free and was round before I was expecting him. He came round really quickly. He completed the job I needed and also did a couple of small plumbing jobs I’d been putting off, extremely satisfactorily. Every time I’ve phoned John or contacted him via email etc, he has answered the phone or responded to my email very promptly. I’m really impressed. Thanks for being a “life saver”, John. Best wishes! P.S. His rates were not any dearer than I expected so I guess he’s good value too!”

“By chance I discovered this recently opened little gem of a cafe in Hale Village adjacent to the railway station. This cafe is on the second floor above an art gallery and is immaculately clean and simply but tastefully decorated. Very polite and attentive staff with a good selection of nicely cooked food and drinks at very reasonable prices. It is an ideal location to relax and meet your friends for a coffee or a light meal throughout the day.”
