“We went here on the second day. They have a very nice and simple menu of great traditional Mediterranean dishes. We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. “I have been to Maryam's Beauty Box for years, and there is no other beauty saloon I want to go to. I go there to have my eyebrows done (threading), and I have always been extremely happy and satisfied with the results. “Probably the best place for a casual yet very tasty dinner in Manchester. We tried chicken gyros and bifteki ( greek burger) . Everything was excellent. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the meet is exceptional but the price is very reasonable making it the best value for money . I suggest you ask for a special greek white wine called retsina ( wine with pine tree extract ). Finally there are nice deserts like homemade baklava and cheesecake.”

“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”

“I love this place. I'm not a vegetarian. However, everything I have tried from this place is amazing. Would definitely recommend. It also does a variety of different things. One of them being live music. Sometimes it is heavy metal though... my favourite meal is the quesadilla with home made chips and a shake (not decided on my favourite yet). Their staff are friendly and food is affordable too.”

“Back to the way pubs used to be, there was a real sense of welcome on arrival, and also a lot of looks from the locals as I was a new face. I instantly got talking to the guy on the stool next to me followed by another local who also seemed keen to socialise. Quite a few in the big room watching football, a few people to the sides reading books and the papers. The fact its attached to a restaurant lends itself to staying for that extra drink, and taking a meal home to appease the wife! Really nice bar and environment, it's back to how pubs used to be, makes a really refreshing change.”

“We dropped by here for lunch arriving at 12 noon. Already this venue was popular but had plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of staff who were friendly knowledgable and created a good atmosphere. A real highlight from the kitchen was the Gluten Free Menu. It was extensive and included a gluten free version of the majority of the main menu. In addition to the GF menu there was a vegan menu and they also catered for those avoiding specific allergens. An excellent GF beer was also available. It was a real pleasure to eat & drink here and we will be visiting again soon.”

“One of the best cafe's on the strip for shisha. Cosy atmosphere and a fair amount of seats for the size of the place. Great value for money on the shisha. They have a variety of flavours and they are all quality. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend for a quiet shisha experience without deafening music playing.”

Booked in here for Lunch and can honestly say as an Ex Chef myself, The Mixed Grill was out of this world, The best I've had by a mile. My Steak was cooked to perfection. “Probably one of the best costa establishments I have been too. Let me start by saying that the staff are so friendly and nice. It’s a really chilled coffee shop, which is nice to come and grab a coffee and if you wanted many different cake selections. Once again the staff members are so welcoming and that is probably the number one reasoning behind it being the best one I have been too.”
