“I have always loved this restaurant. All of the staff are lovely and very attentive. It was my mums birthday today and we went to Bella italia tonight for her birthday meal. All of the food we ordered was absolutely delicious. We had a waiter called Jack and he is my favourite waiter - so polite and presentable and will go the extra mile to make your meal so special !! I will definitely keep coming - simply can’t get enough, yum !!! Can’t recommend enough.”

“Just visited for the first time since the new landladies took over, what a difference! Lovely atmosphere, fabulously friendly staff at the bar and the food was amazing. Mixed grill cooked perfectly for him, pie week special of the best cheese and onion pie for me. Both meals piping hot, freshly cooked, and the chips were perfect. We will definitely be back again soon. Keep up the good work”

“Love this pub, always feel welcome and Carl is an excellent landlord and he keeps the nicest pint of Boddingtons Bitter in the whole of Greater Manchester. Every single visit his beer is spot on. The glasses are always clean, the pub is too and all the customers are having a great time and there is never any mither. The staff are fantastic too. I totally love this pub.”

“Sarah the duty manager... exceptional! This lady knows how to manage efficiently and effectively! Her customer service skills are on point and she knows how to treat people respectfully and with compassion. My experience with her was fantastic and I can't praise her enough. We had a minor issue with a staff member refusing disability access to my aunt but Lucy was quick to intervene and resolve the incident with kindness and empathy. I have worked in hostility for 18 years and I am confident to say this lady knows how to manage with dignity and respect. Massive well done for you and everything you do”

“Great pub to drink in. The last 2 reviews were customers who had gone in for free drinks every day. Landlady with the blueish hair had tried to explain to them that it was one free drink per week for regular customers and they took offence. The landlady and the 2 girls who were working the bar were doing a great job with the covid rules and tried their hardest to meet everyones demands.”

“Went here last week with my friend for a few cheeky afternoon drinks! We sat outside and had a lovely time. We felt very safe and secure and the drinks were great. We had a really pleasant afternoon. Customer service is excellent.. Warm and friendly. And we will most definitely be back again!”

“I went in here with my dad and brother. Staff are lovely and friendly, the pub was really clean, and the drinks were poured well. The pub is large too! Prices are great considering current prices and I've always like Holts' brand. A big plus is the location. The fact its in Gorton but doesn't attract riff raff is massive for me. You can drink here without feeling unsafe. Brand new pool table, free on Tuesdays.”
