The staff immediately offered us a welcome bottle of chilled water, they let us browse but were attentive when we had questions, they were very generous with their time but with absolutely no hard sell and they were very knowledgeable about the products. We returned home very content with the sofa, armchair and chaise we have chosen and we look forward to seeing them in our new home. “Ordered a reconditioned 2 oven gas Aga from Avec, I was kept informed throughout and they were on hand to answer and questions I had. The install day came and the 2 chaps came on time, were friendly and courteous despite having to work around other tradespeople finishing off the kitchen. The Aga itself looks brand new, the enamelling is perfect and the chrome lids are polished to perfection. I’m really happy with the service I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!”

On the walk home, we all agreed this was by far he nicest meal we had eaten in a long time. “Back to the way pubs used to be, there was a real sense of welcome on arrival, and also a lot of looks from the locals as I was a new face. I instantly got talking to the guy on the stool next to me followed by another local who also seemed keen to socialise. Quite a few in the big room watching football, a few people to the sides reading books and the papers. The fact its attached to a restaurant lends itself to staying for that extra drink, and taking a meal home to appease the wife! Really nice bar and environment, it's back to how pubs used to be, makes a really refreshing change.”

“I'd never been to a sauna until today but I definitely picked the right one. Spotlessly clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I was nervous and I was given I guided tour of the facilities by a really helpful, chatty guy that put me at my ease. All the facilities advertised on the website were there and the terrace a perfect little sun-trap. Great music too and at just the right level. I had an amazing time. And I will be going back soon!”

“Played Mottram Hall today and felt compelled to leave a good review. The course was awesome. Nice wide fairways with plenty of features and character. Interesting greens with tricky pin placements and lots of bunkers to catch you out. The course was in really good condition. I have played a few courses in the area and so far Mottram is my favourite. And it’s long, so plenty of opportunities to use the driver and fairway woods. We paid £25 each for a twilight round mid-week which is an absolute bargain.”
