“We really love this pub and pizza place. The beers are expertly kept and the staff are very friendly. We had a couple of pizzas when we were there last and they were exactly what we wanted and needed. Good atmosphere, great bee, tasty food. What more do you need?”

“Can't recommend Fraser highly enough. Always get an excellent service. He's great with our dog who needed to be socialised properly after lockdown. Gave us some superb tips as to how to handle challenging behaviours, all of which worked a treat. Looking forward to a long working relationship!”

“Nice place for a break in the journey, nestled away on the Pennines The cakes were lovely, but the lemon meringue was a bit too much for me. The meringue was the uncooked & blow torched variety, rather than the classic baked. The lemon was also pretty heavy.”

“Visited in the morning with a friend for some breakfast. We ordered the English breakfast and the desi one. Both were very hearty. A very warm welcome from the staff, service was great and overall a lovely place. Will definitely recommend and I'll coming back again. We finished off with dessert. A peanut butter stack and the chocolate churros all freshly made really enjoyed it. Huge thank you and well done to the staff x All the best x ❤”

“Sextons is a bakery , coffee and brunch place as well. The quality of all products i ve tried exceed my expectations. The location is just lovely, touching the river. The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly, helpful and polite. I rarely give 5 stars If it was a sixth star i wouldnt hesitate to give it to Sextons”

“Probably my favourite coffee place in Manchester. The staff is friendly, great location (literally in the middle of everything but at the same time, very calm spot). Coffee is great (iced spanish latte is amazing) and the sandwiches are fantastic!”

“Didn't expect this from this place. Mrs was talking about going there for a long time. We went during the afternoon, it wasn't busy so we got seated straight away. The atmosphere and decor was amazing, I loved how the new modern glass building was connected to the old town hall building really blended in well. Service was as expected but the food well my burger meal was delicious hot and just hit the spot. The Mrs breakfast and cake looked good also and she wasn't disappointed”

“We had a great visit yesterday for a family Sunday roast. The pub was really busy and still the service was amazing from start to finish. We had our drinks order delivered to our table within minutes of ordering. Roast dinner was brilliant. “Sarah the duty manager... exceptional! This lady knows how to manage efficiently and effectively! Her customer service skills are on point and she knows how to treat people respectfully and with compassion. My experience with her was fantastic and I can't praise her enough. We had a minor issue with a staff member refusing disability access to my aunt but Lucy was quick to intervene and resolve the incident with kindness and empathy. I have worked in hostility for 18 years and I am confident to say this lady knows how to manage with dignity and respect. Massive well done for you and everything you do”
