“What an amazing place this is. Great atmksphere and amazing food. I stopped here on a whim and am glad I done so. Clearly everything was freshly cooked and was done so to a great standard. I would definitely stop here again.”

“UPDATE. This is definitely the best Indian in Darwen. Although not on the menu, they do do a cauliflower side and tonight I even took my own aubergine. The food is always delicious and plentiful and the service is top notch. Toilets not quite finished but getting there. I wish they would bring the bill with the Bailey's. PREVIOUS We went there last night, Wednesday, at 5.30 for a change from our usual Sunday venue. We were warmly welcomed and served drinks (two pints of Cobra). The heating was on. We ordered three poppadoms (which came with a far too big a pickle tray), 2 mains from their chefs recommended specials with a vegetable rice, a garlic and cheese naan and a portion of onion bahjis. It was absolutely delicious, faultless and plentiful. Giving The Akash a run for its money? Most certainly at £42.00 with complimentary Bailey's. The decor is lovely. Miminalistic muted greys with the colourful paintings as a beautiful contrast. Not too bright. The service was discreet and professional. Not overly friendly. Downside? The toilets reaĺly do need attention to finish the refurbishment. Thank you. We will return very soon. Looking forward to their Sunday buffet which they said, is coming soon.”

“An amazing experience! The inside is decorated beautiful, the staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was divine. We had the takoyaki and fried tofu to start. After this we had the sushi set 1 (mixed fish sushi selection) and vegetarian sushi set (mixed vegetables selection) which was incredibly yummy, fresh and looked beautiful! We finished our meal with ice cream mochi and pancakes. In total the price was beyond reasonable (think under £60 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts and alcoholic drinks) Will definitely be back!”

“We went to Phanthong for lunch on Saturday and ordered from the A La Carte menu. The decor is lovely. The food was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. We had young kids with us and they loved the food too, especially the pad Thai noodles. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back again.”

“Nice Thai food. We had crispy Prawns to start, and Thai Calamari. Both nice & flavoursome. Good portion sizes. For mains we had Rosa's wok fried rice we had half chicken and half Prawn (requested by us. Happly changed to meet our needs) Staff are lovely, warm and accommodating especially the young lady who served us she was new and was 100% lovely. Oh we wine, a cocktail and soft drinks. No complaints.”

“Thank you for such a lovely evening last week. Has to be one of the best Italian pizzas I have had in a while. All fresh and authentic. Also had some tasty tiger prawns to start. My partner had the Salmon which I tried too, very good. Hats off to the chef! Thanks to the waitress Gabi who made some good recommendations, as I was a bit stuck for choice!”

“This location has two Hyatt's the Hyatt House & Hyatt Regency. Offers free breakfast, the Laureate restaurant is excellent! The rooms are beautiful and large. We stayed in the Bed & Breakfast part of the Hyatt House room 1316. The rooms were up to date and very clean.”

“Very reasonable price and fantastic location. Room was spotless and good amenities. Iron and ironing board provided on request. Free wifi and tv in each room. Also spotless. If I had to fault, the maid walked in in the morning at 8am, she did knock and walk in but I didn’t think I would need to put the “don’t clean” sign on the door as we were only staying one night. But overall a pleasant experience and would definitely stay again!”

“As always, the same high standard as I have come to expect from Premier Inn. The room was immaculate and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was a good base, just a short walk from Spinningfields and the cocktails we had enjoyed earlier in the night. The hotel also had an option to store luggage once we checked out. They asked for a donation for this, which we gladly paid as all the money went to their chosen charity!”

The chefs are Thai which will set the tones for the dishes which have that vibe and authentic zing you don't usually find in fake takeaways. Bill was reasonable and the dishes were superb. “This was a very random visit, walked past Zena and decided to try- one of the best random decisions I've made. The owner was a great host, we walked in when the kitchen was almost closing but he spoke to the chef on our behalf. The restaurant's cosy and food is AMAZING. “Great find in central Manchester - good deal in Deansgate. An excellent place in the city centre, with a warm welcome, efficient service, and great atmosphere. And absolutely delicious food to boot. The restaurant has the feel of a city centre pub on entering, but behind and beyond the first room is a series of smaller areas with a distinctly greek taverna feel. Access is all on one level, and whilst the general toilets are down stairs, there is a ground level accessible toilet for those with limited mobility. The staff were delightful and the food came very quickly after ordering. There’s a good range of both meat food and meat free food. And a good range of beers and wines. The price is very reasonable. Certainly a place to go again next time I’m in town.”

“To be honest, in my history of eating at Nigerian restaurants abroad, this was the best. Very great folks. I came with my girlfriend on a visit to Manchester . You definitely get your money’s worth as the food is quite a lot and the gentleman who attended to us was so great. For the first time in a very long time, I felt bad leaving without dropping a tip because I didn’t have actual cash on me. A very lovely Nigerian restaurant in Manchester.”

“Ok guys you need to check this, it is a restaurant that has food on the go and yeah, the excellent communication with staff is really helpful to order the food. First, excellent communication to ordering the spaghetti carbonara does taste so good and yeah the sauce is creamy The word for metres is really in flavour the spaghetti is cooked the sauce is creamy and also the bacon is really crispy. Then at the end,We order some dessert that is the chocolate fondant that taste so good that the chocolate is really good and yeah, it’s like those Lava cakes I tasted in Hong Kong. The decoration on the dish and, I mean all dishes is amazing. Really enjoyed and you must also. And about the restaurant, the atmosphere and the lighting is amazing and even the stairs are lighted per step. They give out candles at night because it was late or dark enough outside to low the brightness on lights and use the candles. They also have this bar and I mean multiple bars that is literally a wine garden or heaven or whatever but also, the thing I’m looking for in most restaurants are clean toilets and yes, the toilets are clean. You gotta try it out I recommend it very very much.”

“La Scala is ALWAYS the place to go for delicious food, friendly staff and a relaxed environment. The staff always make an extra effort with all of their new and returning guests and always offer a personalised service. I have never had a meal here that has been less than sublime and at a reasonable price too! I could write a novel with the great things I have to say about La Scala but the proof is in the eating... Book a table and enjoy, you will be spoiled when you do!”
