Homely atmosphere in Altrincham

“I have been with these vets at Altrincham for many years now and have always found them brilliant in every way, wouldn't go anywhere else!!”

“Great brunch, really high quality meat on the OCR big breakfast, every element was perfect. Fridns enjoyed the brisket hash, cheese and ham omelet & the smaller breakfast. It's worth the price, the service was great we changed our order a couple of times and they dealt with it well (too many tasty options!) They're very dog friendly they brought out sausages for him at no extra charge and came o came over for pets and more water etc, very impressive! 10/10”

“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“Me and my partner and my son and his girlfriend and niece and mother in law had a lovely meal as a family in our favourite restaurant doubletree, the guy’s who work there were wonderful as they always are, lovely food and would highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Went for doggy things and got some bargains in Forthgade fishy trays! Lots of bags of meaty chews and treats and very reasonably priced. Loads of art & crafts stuff too plus tons of household items.”

“Nice little Nandos in the centre of altrincham. It's a good spot to meet friends for an informal spot of lunch. Everyone loves a Cheeky Nandos after all!! Staff were friendly, Food was on par for nandos. And the vibe was good.”

“Had eyelash extensions this week and I am thrilled with them. Finally found someone who managed to get the natural and fluttery look I asked for! The vibe in the salon is also really nice and soothing. Relaxed and without the misplaced loud music you get in lots of salons.”

“After having issues with patch test reactions for 9 months, the thought of not being able to colour my hair anymore made me feel incredibly low. Jonathan at Est 14 was absolutely brilliant and really looked after me. He ordered a special PPD free and ammonia free product he used to use in salon and was so incredibly careful about not touching my scalp the whole way through. I can't tell you how happy I am I can have my blonde hair again. This is a hair salon that really cares about it's customers and they go out of the way to help you. Thank you - it means so much! x”

“A great place to spend quality time with my children well away from screens! Nerd has a huge variety of board games and staff were on hand to help us choose and get to grips with the rules. The food is healthy and tasty with a good range of options. We will definitely be back!”

“Fabulous, fabulous food, nice staff, WAY better than the ridiculous dire Altrincham Market. I left the Tender Cow (TC) in the Market after a disgusting meal and found this brilliant cafe. Tender Cow has No customer care, just a very bad attitude, my steak was swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At Altrincham Market silly prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to Tender Cow to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant.”

“Ordered on line a Mustard made locker, the Midi, blush pink, (absolutely gorgeous) Wednesday tea time, it arrived Friday lunchtime and was up and working by tea time! so so beautiful, unbelievable delivery, extremely easy to put together, cannot fault anything from ordering to delivery to sitting gazing at it in my kitchen..........perfection all round.”

“We have used the pet boarding for our two guinea pigs several times and would never use anyone else. Tanya is amazing with the animals and they are looked after exceptionally well. The extra services are also great as the piggies usually come back smelling and looking fab!”

This was made perfect by the quality and taste of the 3 dishes we had. The Babaghanouj, Bourak and Maklubeh were outstanding! We’d never had the 2 last dishes and loved the flavor. If we every get back to Altrincham this will definitely be our first stop.”

“OMG..! For a Monday night in Altrinham.. Abso fab tea time 'sesh' with Emma behind the bar.. So attentive to customers needs.. Customers soooo.. Friendly.. Was only planning on staying for one pint but the 'oirish.. Craic...' was so wonderful that we ended up staying for four pints each.. Shame no real ale but neck oil beer very tasty.. Carlsberg available for lager drinkers.. Deffo wanna return...”
