“My son is now 24 and has struggled hugely with adhd in his teens and early adult years. At the time of seeking diagnosis and treatment the situation was pretty desperate. I spent a while researching the many “adhd clinics” in the northwest, reading testimonials, checking the backgrounds of the therapists, ringing around. I rang and spoke to Rachel at Jacobs clinic and knew about 5 mins into the conversation that they had a different approach to other places! Rachel is a real asset to the clinic, as a first point of contact for people who are probably really struggling, she explained everything, the process, the costs, the realistic timescale needed to get treatment in place and monitor. There have been a few occasions that Rachel has gone above and beyond to help! Dr jacobs is absolutely lovely, he seems to genuinely really care. My son felt able to really open up to him in the diagnostic appointment and Dr Jacobs was so understanding as well as extremely knowledgeable about what adhd can look like for some people and the far-reaching impact it has. Post diagnosis, my son responded really well to the first medication he tried and 4 months down the line the results have been amazing - he’s back to work, healthy, and positive. As a family this process has helped us all more than anyone could ever know. Thank you! I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone struggling with adhd.”

“This listing is supposed to be for MIHP, but Google has mixed it up with the listing for Dr Leon Creaney, who is one of the Consultants working there. The facility is a Private Medical Centre, it also hosts the English Institute of Sport in Manchester, and some NHS services and Sports Science/Sports Medicine research. There is an extensive physiology and biomechanics research lab, environmental and altitude chamber, cryotherapy etc. It also has X-ray, 3T MRI, Diagnostic Ultrasound and DEXA scanning. It can perform V02 Max testing, Exercise ECG and has an extensive rehabilitation gym, indoor 60m track and 4G Astroturf indoor pitch. Many different doctors, physiotherapists and allied health professions hold clinics there.”

“I’ve just seen the most awful review from Leanne Edwards, regarding Marie Rhodes, and feel I must counteract it with my own experience. My husband and I have been seeing Marie for a number of years now, and I can honestly say that without her counselling, my husband would not be here today. After years of being ‘in the NHS system’, my husband was not getting the help he needed and was getting worse. After suffering for many years with depression, anxiety and OCD he finally reached rock bottom. He was suicidal. I contacted Marie and she saw us the same day. Over the next few weeks, we saw her every other day, then every 3 days, and slowly extended the gaps between sessions. She is the most professional, kind, sympathetic, understanding counsellor we have ever seen. I say again, without her, my husband would be dead.. She has a way of getting him to open up to her that no-one else has ever managed. She is firm with him, when necessary and won’t let him avoid a subject just because it is uncomfortable to talk about. She lets him talk, without interrupting him. She encourages him when she feels he needs it. She doesn’t rush him. She doesn’t bomb bard him with questions. She listens. Her advice has been life changing for us as a family. My husband has his life back. There are still issues to be addressed and with her help he will keep on improving. I can’t speak highly enough about this wonderful lady. Her rude, arrogant and liable comments should not be taken as anything near to the truth about Marie Rhodes.... Sounds like because she didn't get a call back, she decided to spew her vitriolic, vile drivel on to someone who deserves nothing but praise! I have been to see Marie Rhodes for the last seven years and experienced nothing but professional care and attention. I don't know what her problems are, but I'll bet she was were treated in exactly the same way I was. I cannot let her totally untrue and cruel comments go without vigorously contesting them for what they are..... TOTALLY FALSE !!! Did she make any other effort to contact Marie and discuss the matter further before posting these lies?... probably not, because her kind don't care who they try to professionally destroy and condemn on a whim. I hope Marie takes this libellous post and sues her for deformation of character and asks for witnesses, of who I will be the first in line to testify!! But alas, I fear Marie is too good natured to do so. Oh.... and to attack someone who is unable to defend themselves in a public arena is at best sad and cowardly!!.. “I've been going to Pace for years and they're brilliant, such nice and friendly staff throughout, prosthetics are top quality. Don't believe the 1 star review, if you have a problem with a prosthetic that isn't your own fault they don't make you pay. I've had 4 or 5 different prosthetics each with there own problems because every persons amputation is different there's no 1 fit solution that works for everyone. Highly recommend as they get you sorted A.S.A.P.”

“Lovely people! They greet you with the first gift for baby! Very profesional! You need to pay in advance a fee and when you arrive pay de other part! Then the clinician take you to the scan room! They explain everything and allow family members to join. Scan really good, she explained everything and ask us if we had more questions. She share with us some pictures that we love and also they send the pics to the mobile! Love the fact that i was able to book in the evening and that they had availability! Other companies told me i could do in a week!”
