The 'Burbs
“Had a lovely meal with my partner at this restaurant, staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was amazing, I liked the small dishes which allowed you to try a few different things than just getting one big plate of just one thing. The pizza was delicious along with the fresh breads. Would highly recommend”
Tatton Arms, Moss Nook
“Had a meal there today. Food was superb. Nicest meal all year. The pubs been done up, it looks very nice. But it does look like any other generic pub, it has lost a lot of character, although decor and food was nice.”

Bar Eight
“Ok so you’ve been to pubs and bars, but have you felt part of it? I missed this little gem so many times when walking past it. If you know, then you know. Bar8 is perfect when it’s quiet, it’s perfect when it’s busy. The live music the atmosphere; just try it. I live 5mins away and it’s my new local. 10/10”

Sir Ralph Abercromby
“Great old pub to call in for a pint. Recently survived a redevelopment project which would have seen the pub wiped from the map. Definitely worth a visit friendly staff relaxed atmosphere.”
Rain Bar
“Visited Rain Bar for pre-concert food and drinks last night. Service was great (thank you Ursula!) and the fish and chips was excellent, and great value in my opinion. In fact, everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, so will be back soon to try one of the home-made pot pies.”
The Gas Works Brewbar
“Visited this bar today as was meeting up with a friend staying in the Innside Hotel. Nice bar. Well spaced out and comfortable seating. Good selection of beers and I would recommend the Spruce Black IPA. Music was a little loud but it was a Saturday night so to be expected. Good sized disabled toilet which was easy to get too. Would like to revisit in the summer to sit outside.”
Boundary Stone
“Went to the Boundary Stone for a family meal on Thursday 10/11/2022 it was our first time and already booked for next week. Food was very tasty and well presented we all enjoyed our meals. All the staff was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend very cosy.”
The Rivington
“Really lovely food, plenty of choice for everyone and quick, friendly service. It was quite busy which is a great sign but meant the little car park was quite full but managed to get a space. Nice garden outside too which will be great for summer. Will be returning to try more of the great menu (can definitely recommend the beef stroganoff)!”
The Spring Gardens Beer Emporium and Eatery
“What an amazing pub and eatery! Been in a few times, the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! Staff were brilliant too! Highly recommend!”

The Roebuck
“Lovely place, much improved on the previous set up. I went there yesterday for a wake and the staff were very friendly and helpful and considerate of why we were there. The place seems more like a pub again than the restaurant it became after it burned down, the food we had was very good and buying drinks didn't break the bank either.”
The White Bear
“Lovely meal as usual at the White Bear : excellent service from the lovely Maria and Chef . Lovely and warm with the fire on . Many pubs lack this warm atmosphere. Keep up the good work!!”
