"Lovely place, much improved on the previous set up. I went there yesterday for a wake and the staff were very friendly and helpful and considerate of why we were there. The place seems more like a pub again than the restaurant it became after it burned down, the food we had was very good and buying drinks didn't break the bank either."

"Lovely surroundings and staff, reasonably priced and great food for most people including Vegetarian and Vegan. Sadly like so many places little effort is made on the menu for coeliacs.and gluten free options are not identified, you have to check each item against an allergen list to discover salad is your main option. I have to say, it was lovely but a hot meal would have been welcome."

"What a lovely experience we had visiting the roebuck for some food and a few drinks. The staff are excellent, so friendly and attentive. We were greeted by Angela who made us feel very welcome and then Jane was so lovely and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was presented to a high standard and arrived hot. I asked about the chef's, to pass on our thanks, Paul and Connor. We will be visiting again!"
