Fun times in Manchester

“Just wanted to leave a review for anyone who is in anyway apprehensive or indecisive about choosing this nursery…don’t be! Myself and my sister are both first time mums, whose babies were born during the lockdown. They have had very little interaction with other adults or children so we were incredibly worried how they would settle. From the moment we picked this wonderful nursery (due to recommendations from 4 of my friends), the communication has be so professional, caring & reliable. They attended for taster sessions and all the staff, not just our children’s teachers have wonderful. Both our children are content and settled with their teachers who are incredibly caring and easily go in with them - no tears!!! It is just such a friendly, caring and nurturing nursery. So so glad we picked here. I couldn’t feel any more content with sending my little boy and niece here.”

“The staff here are totally amazing. My baby has had no problem adapting to being here fulltime. He started at 19 months and was probably the smallest child in attendance but thankfully the holiday club that is also provided here allowed for his 7yr old brother to be with him for the the first fortnight. The meals are plant based which is really helpful as my children have a mostly meat free diet. I was worried about how he would feel after spending all his time with mummy and then being apart for such a long portion of the day but he is thriving here and I couldn't be happier.”

“Absolutely amazing service every time. We enjoyed pizza, dough balls and ice cream. The dough is incredibly delicious and the menu has a great variety. 10/10.”

“When travel there's to great reasons to look out for that big yellow M in the Sky 1. You know exactly what the food is going to taste like, and 2. You know its a comfortable space to stop and rest for a bit”

“Good food and comfortable surroundings. Separate gluten free and vegan menus available. Gluten free burger bun was unfortunately inedible as it was so solid that I could not cut or bite through it. Baked potato was pretty tasteless and not a very good side dish for a burger.”

“Recently bought my Oculus Quest 2 from here, ordered online and received a code instantly. Went down and collected my order with no fuss. Free parking outside and friendly staff.”

“Love this pub, always feel welcome and Carl is an excellent landlord and he keeps the nicest pint of Boddingtons Bitter in the whole of Greater Manchester. Every single visit his beer is spot on. The glasses are always clean, the pub is too and all the customers are having a great time and there is never any mither. The staff are fantastic too. I totally love this pub.”

“Great pub to drink in. The last 2 reviews were customers who had gone in for free drinks every day. Landlady with the blueish hair had tried to explain to them that it was one free drink per week for regular customers and they took offence. The landlady and the 2 girls who were working the bar were doing a great job with the covid rules and tried their hardest to meet everyones demands.”

“Had my little boys party here yesterday and him and his friends all had a blast, staff were amazing! Nothing was too much, they helped with anything I needed. My son had 25 kids at the party and around 10 with addition needs and not a single meltdown! Which is a huge win! I would recommend this place to anyone for exclusive use birthday parties!”

“Called in for a late lunch just had a mains and was a good meal .looks nice now since reopening after the flooding .used to work here in 1997 in the kitchen when it was a big steak pub and wacky warehouse .”

“I cannot fault KDK. My son has been attending since he was 9 months old and now attends the before school club, my daughter attends full time. I have never had an issue or a complaint, my children love to go. Su always goes above and beyond to help, she is flexible and willing to help, if I have ever needed the odd extra day. They provide footy totz, jo jingles/jo beans, rugby tots and take a group twice a week to swimming. Phonics is introduced to children in the pre-school room which has helped my son loads when he started school. Both of my children are excited to go to this nursery, I cannot recommend it enough.”

“Lovely friendly staff. Daughters swimming teacher Fran is awsome with her encouraging and engaging and pushes her when needed. Only issue is with the selfish people who leave their belongings in the cubicles rather than using the lockers of which is there plenty my daughter is a teenager and body aware so prefers to be in a cubicle rather than the shared changing room area.”

“Overall the service is good but today, 7 Nov, took 3 minutes or longer to get driver assigned via the app from Egerton Road South. Booked with agent as even the automatic phone booking did not work. On return from Ashleigh vet, had same problem being unable to book driver via the app, again took approx. 3 minutes. Thanks”

“Great customer care from Billy today, gave me some great advice and has helped me with some beginner help. Purchased several fish, all healthy. Fantastic shop, great range of cold water & tropical fish available. Friendly staff & honest staff.”

“A great venue. Highly recommend. The bar staff are friendly and great at creating theatre will making your drinks. The sound quality is excellent. I've discovered plenty of new bands here. Its very central so easy to find. Highly recommend.”

“A Very Good Nursery Professionally run. All the Staff cannot do enough for the Children. A variety of activities for them to do so they are learning lots. “I had been taking my dog, Bernie, to Pets At Home whenever he needed a groom. However, he is a very timid dog and gets very frightened and nervous. He was always shaking and upset afterwards when I would arrive to collect him. My friend then recommended Saddlewoofs, so I thought i’d give them a try. When I collect him afterwards he is like a different dog! Bernie now loves going to Saddlewoofs and he is always very relaxed and calm afterwards. I have no worries leaving him knowing he feels safe and happy to be in Saddlewoofs care. I highly recommend Saddlewoofs and wouldn’t think about taking Bernie anywhere else.”
