Oscar’s Adventure:

"Had some algae in my tank and was advised to buy Otocinclus, now my platys are laying at the bottom. Possibly from white spot disease that was carried over. I have looked online and was advised to turn the heater up but it’s a treatment that my fish may not survive that long... Shame I don’t have a quarantine tank. I have put the weakest ones in a fry basket for their own safety. Will not be coming back to this shop. Edit: I originally had 4 platys and they had babies, so I had 10 platys. All 10 of my Platys died within 3 weeks after buying the otocinclus here, heart breaking. Still treating the water before I buy new fish elsewhere. Makes me feel like giving up my fish tank now.."
