“A hidden gem rapidly becoming a shining star in Tylesdale. A cosy takeaway, small in size but big in taste! A friend had highly recommended the place so we took the 30 minute journey to try it out. Although they've only opened recently, the orders for home delivery and customers who come in person keep the staff on their toes! The place is clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and polite. All menu items are displayed with pictures and descriptions - in case you are trying Greek food for the first time. The food is freshly prepared and even the baklava is homemade. We had mixed mezza, Greek mixed grill, Greek salad and cheesy garlic bread. It came with plenty of hand cut chips and pitta bread. We also had baklava which was very moorish! I would definitely visit again, I need to try everything on the menu!”

“This is what is more commonly known as mini mart, having said that it's got a good choice of items on the higher price bracket but it's in a convenient location with plenty of parking and a very level access area for people with mobility issues. I use it mostly just to pick up just the essentials and some of the ready meals are really tasty and these are at a good price point. “I've been going for years & though it has changed hands (it will always be Ahmed bros to me!) It's still fantastic & my local shop. It's an Asian supermarket, so don't go in looking for booze & fags! But for fruits, vegetables, spices, drinks, rice, sauces ect, it's GREAT! they also do frozen stuff, snacks & cleaning products. (& Come to think of it, pans, jars & all other kinds of stuff!) I , as you can tell, love the place. Has a butchers section. Which I have yet to try, only because when I finish work, they have already wound down & are cleaning it. fantastic place. Long may it run! AAA+”

“Love this as a go to corner shop. They have everything you would expect in a corner shop and more. Great alcohol selection and everything is very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly. I will say that they do not sell fresh produce which is a downside and there is often groups of young people loitering outside which may deter some shoppers. Overall a good and easy convenience store, definitely recommend.”
