“After a dreadful experience at another salon, Chloe made me feel so reassured and she spent lots of time and effort fixing my hair. 72 foils later, olaplex treatment, cut and blow, 7 hours work and help from the wonderful manager, Angela still came in under £100. They took their time, we’re meticulous and kind. Would definitely recommend x”

“I’ve just seen the most awful review from Leanne Edwards, regarding Marie Rhodes, and feel I must counteract it with my own experience. My husband and I have been seeing Marie for a number of years now, and I can honestly say that without her counselling, my husband would not be here today. After years of being ‘in the NHS system’, my husband was not getting the help he needed and was getting worse. After suffering for many years with depression, anxiety and OCD he finally reached rock bottom. He was suicidal. I contacted Marie and she saw us the same day. Over the next few weeks, we saw her every other day, then every 3 days, and slowly extended the gaps between sessions. She is the most professional, kind, sympathetic, understanding counsellor we have ever seen. I say again, without her, my husband would be dead.. She has a way of getting him to open up to her that no-one else has ever managed. She is firm with him, when necessary and won’t let him avoid a subject just because it is uncomfortable to talk about. She lets him talk, without interrupting him. She encourages him when she feels he needs it. She doesn’t rush him. She doesn’t bomb bard him with questions. She listens. Her advice has been life changing for us as a family. My husband has his life back. There are still issues to be addressed and with her help he will keep on improving. I can’t speak highly enough about this wonderful lady. She is a credit to her profession! Alison Kempster Who is this Leanne Edwards!!.... I would love to meet her!!. Firstly I cannot believe people like her are allowed to leave such appalling posts. Her rude, arrogant and liable comments should not be taken as anything near to the truth about Marie Rhodes.... Sounds like because she didn't get a call back, she decided to spew her vitriolic, vile drivel on to someone who deserves nothing but praise! I have been to see Marie Rhodes for the last seven years and experienced nothing but professional care and attention. I don't know what her problems are, but I'll bet she was were treated in exactly the same way I was. I cannot let her totally untrue and cruel comments go without vigorously contesting them for what they are..... TOTALLY FALSE !!! Did she make any other effort to contact Marie and discuss the matter further before posting these lies?... probably not, because her kind don't care who they try to professionally destroy and condemn on a whim. I hope Marie takes this libellous post and sues her for deformation of character and asks for witnesses, of who I will be the first in line to testify!! But alas, I fear Marie is too good natured to do so. Oh.... and to attack someone who is unable to defend themselves in a public arena is at best sad and cowardly!!.. “This Medical Practice is absolutely excellent. I couldn't fault it in any way, especially Dr Raje. Always so thorough and shows so much compassion. During covid all the staff were still amazing as they still are now. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.”

“Spot on, sometimes they may run a bit late that just means they are dealing with the patients who are seriously ill, properly. I would rather wait a while than the doctors have to rush through patients and miss something serious.”

“I've been going to Pace for years and they're brilliant, such nice and friendly staff throughout, prosthetics are top quality. Don't believe the 1 star review, if you have a problem with a prosthetic that isn't your own fault they don't make you pay. I've had 4 or 5 different prosthetics each with there own problems because every persons amputation is different there's no 1 fit solution that works for everyone. Highly recommend as they get you sorted A.S.A.P.”

Hazelwood Nursery offers a home from home for our child. We always felt happy and resssured leaving her in the wonderful care of the dedicated staff team. “I recently moved to this doctors practice when I moved to heaton Moor, and such a better practice. First off all the receptionists are always so friendly and helpful don’t make me feel intimidated like I’m making there job more stressful than it already is which made me feel welcome straight away. Every appointment I have made I have been seen to on time, never experienced long wait times ever. The doctors I have seen in this practice generally seem to care and take their time even though I’m sure they are so busy and stressed, they don’t want to give you a quick answer and then fob you off to see their next patient they see to all your questions and concerns in a kind way. There is one doctor in particular I don’t know his name yet, but one thing that made me really respect him and know he is a great doctor is, I made a appointment to talk about my hormonal acne and he gave me so many options that he thought would be a good option to deal with my issue, he understood my hopelessness of trying everything and was honest with me about all the options. He then proceeded to ask how my mental health was doing which no doctor has ever asked or checked up on with me after my recent diagnosis or new medications which I also understand with how busy and overworked our health care system is - he cared and took the time to explain my new medication how it works the scientific structure of it and if I needed any support with it which lifted me and made me trust in our doctors again specifically when it comes mental health.”

“Wasn't expecting much following the reviews on here, but make a judgement for yourself as I found the staff and the hotel to be pleasant- some of the guests less so! I stayed for work over a period of a few days, and it's clear that its the same staff every day from reception open till close. Im unsure if they are also the owners but it gives a very 'family run' style feel that is comforting. After my first night, I was asked how I was coping with the warm weather and to be sure to ask if I needed anything. I was also periodically asked how the room was, and felt extremely safe as a female travelling solo. The hotel is on a main road, but is neighbouring a nice residential area and a church, which gives it a peaceful feel. The amenities in the room are fantastic, the fridge and microwave honestly looked brand new. I'll be honest in that I brought antibacterial wipes to clean the sides following some reviews, but the wipes were as clean as they were fresh out of the packet after wiping down all the surfaces. While the room itself is a tad dated, it has more character than your standard travelodge! Honestly a great hotel with pleasant staff. Can't fault it and honestly wish I was working in the area again to return!”
