“Been for a prostate biopsy today. I had been seriously dreading the proceedure. I have to say the team under Professor Andrew Sinclair were superb. All the staff I interfaced with were kind and careing and put me at ease. They communicated with me all the time and explained what was going to happen which made a massive positive impact on my experience. My dreaded fear was unjustified and I cannot thank the team enough for the treatment and care I received. I can highly recommend the Stepping Hill urolpgy dept. Incidently, the lady who answers the phone calls when you ring the department is excellent. She gets back to you with answers every time you ring. Thanks again.”

“Moved both my children from other swimming classes to Aqua Seals and very happy with the progress they have made. Particularly like the fact there are helpers in the water for the younger children which helps to keep a good instructor/student ratio, meaning they get the attention they require. Lorna is particularly helpful and co-operative and they don't give out badges for the sake of it! The children really have to achieve the correct technique to earn their badges. Highly recommended.”

Right from initial consultation where Arnie, my golden Cocker Spaniel (elderly!), and I met her and her dog, through to picking him up a week later Gemma was great. Messages and photos meant I could keep up with how he was getting on. Everything was straight forward and she was always happy to help. 5 stars well earnt and I’d be happy to take Arnie back and recommend her to his friends’ owners.”

“We have had the pleasure of knowing Melanie for the past 3.5years! She has looked after and cared for our golden retriever Alfred since he was six months old every time we go on holiday. I feel privileged to have found Care2Pets dog walking and home boarding as I know our furry member of the family will always be safe and loved while he's on his holidays with Melanie! I can't recommend this company enough as they are so wonderful! Alfred loves staying here and playing with Melanies own dogs! To ask why you're going to introduce yourself, that's because it's the most important thing to start as a relationship. No matter what kind of relationship, isn ’ t it necessary to start with an acquaintanceship where we both know each other? So, just because I'm someone who cares about such things, I often think that no matter to whom, I will be as friendly as possible. I ’ m not saying that there isn ’ t a chance that the other party is shy. Even if you think you want to become well-connected, when you start by introducing yourself, something in you always cannot help but hesitate. Out of consideration for those types of people, I try to introduce myself as much as possible and act in order to create a space where they feel comfortable. Of course, I don ’ t expect this grace to be immediately obvious. However, I do have hopes that after some time, they will be able to detect the meaning of an introductions. Or, rather, that they will become aware of it. Or is it natural to talk to someone you meet for the first time without introducing yourself? If that ’ s the case, then there ’ s a slight difference between my common sense and culture. In that case, although both parties feel a sense of obligation, it becomes necessary to refuse the other side in advance so as to prevent a misunderstanding. Isn ’ t that so different from what I said before, taking being gentle with each other for granted? In fact, sa ying so feels impolite. And that ’ s a loss of etiquette, and the other party is left with a lesser value. A false assessment of each other ’ s value imposes on others. This is a violation of the rights of others. From any rational perspective, this is an infringement of my rights.”

“This nursery, which both my children have gone to, is just such an amazing and special place. When looking around for nurseries you encounter numerous nurseries which you feel are run like big institutions, the staff are uniformed, and their daily interactions with the children are driven and measured by endless tick boxing activities and typically the staff turnover is very high. Early Steps is the polar opposite to this. It is a place where all the staff form genuine relationships and bonds with the children and are heavily invested and take tremendous pride in their individual development. The staff have worked together for years, the core staff dating back to the 90’s (while working in the nurseries predecessor Early Years), and are all driven by a common strong philosophy of pedagogical and warm genuine communication and interaction with the children. When you leave your children at the nursery you feel almost as if they are with warm and caring extended family. Also, the endless creative learning activities the staff think of doing with the children are just amazing. Anyway, I could go on for ever, but I simply cannot praise this place enough it is really unique. I genuinely feel it has set my children up for life. /Joel and Ella’s Mum”
