“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Great laid back cinema with comfy seating. You can get Pizza and beer to take into the film, perfect! Has an arcade and ten pin bowling attached and always has a great atmosphere! Staff are friendly and love dressing up for the latest releases! There were some sights for Avatar!”

“I'm very pleased we have Redrock on our doorstep. It's a very modern building, not to my taste (I like ancient Victorian architecture) but it offers some good stuff from a gym to restaurants, a cinema, bowling, darts and an arcade. It does Stockport a favour in the otherwise deteriorating centre of the town. Hopefully a sign of things to come. I hope it does well and all the businesses there stay open...”

“This is a smaller toy store than the ones I used to go to with my children but it has a massive selection of toys, condensed into the space perfectly. It's nice to be able to get in and out in minutes instead of hours. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and know exactly where everything is. 10/10 recommend.”

“Had my son Cameron’s 8th birthday party today at Stockport Nerf Centre and EVERYONE absolutely loved it The guys running the place are very professional but know how to have fun Myself and another Dad were lucky enough to get involved albeit a tad reluctant at first but then my inner kid took over and I was in the zone. My baby loves the sessions so much all the lights, songs and activities. Natalie & Michelle are just amazing and so lovely in class. I really think the sessions have helped with my babies social skills too! This is an amazing class and space.”

“We've done Hannah's Bloom classes both at Gatley and Cheadle Heath. The classes are entertaining and support little ones' development but Hannah really is the star of the show. My daughter is captivated by her, and she knows all the babies by name. She creates a welcoming and safe atmosphere and after a tricky start with numerous health problems, she helped make my first venture out of the house with my baby a really positive one. I go back to work soon and I'm gutted that I will miss our weekly classes.”

“As a local and partial to an escape room, this was too good to pass up. In recent times I've played three games, all of which were pitched at a good level, with clues available when required. The host was friendly, enthusiastic and has done a fine job piecing together the Victor Chan trilogy. Another great place in and around Davenport high street.”

“The staff are fantastic at this hotel. I stayed with my dog and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some of the other rooms but nothing too bad. Mainly young people enjoying themselves so it quietened down after a minute or so.”

“Very impressive vr venue, with many immersive arcade setups. I've been to a few vr places and this place impressed me, they have an arcade section where there are cars, iron man suit, tron bikes, egg pods, rail gun, and free movement area. They also have vr rooms for a different experience. What impressed me here was that the staff are helpful, knowledgeable, that all the kit are easy to setup for whatever games you want. They have various package deals, I did 60 mins for both my children for 50 pounds, it's a little expensive but in terms of the kit they have I think it's worth it. Kids will love this place, I plan to visit again and try out the vr rooms. Update: So I won a 60 min vip vr experience and 30 min arcade experience which I used recently. The staff were very helpful. In the room you have a different set of vr games, my kids played vacation simulator for 60 mins, and each took turns to play. I think if you're by yourself then 60 mins might be enough but with multiple people you should consider 90 or even 120 mins in order for everyone to get a chance to enjoy. As these are more immersive than the arcade games, you'll play much longer. The staff know the games very well, they stay with you in the room, and can adjust the headset or advise you when you're stuck in the games. I cannot recommend this place enough, you get a great experience, excellent customer service, lots of games to choose from.”

“Wonderful place for kids, we went for a birthday party which little one loved. I have been to a few of these over the years and this is probably the cleanest I have seen. There is lots of seating for parents and you can also order food if you wish. There was a separate section upstairs for party groups to eat etc. This has a rather lovely view being in Marple Stockport which is quite leafy. Worth a visit to let the children run amok for a few hours.”

“Did our tour Saturday morning, Gary the tour guide was brilliant and really entertaining, right balance of humour and information, the brewery has the historical and brand new brewing equipment which makes it stand out as a great tour, we finished off in the Arden Arms to sample some of the drinks we heard about. Sad to hear the Unicorn Brewery is moving to new premises and from April next year these tours will not continue.”

“I don't drink so I always have coffee, my coffee was spot on and as a bonus there was a choice of chocolate biscuits, yum yum, staff very pleasant place spotless definitely would be first port of call if I lived in Disley which is only a mile or so from Stockport and a bit more to Buxton a good starting point for walkers, with Lyme park a few yards down the road”

“Visited 25/10/2022, very popular location and lots of parking but fills up fast too. Great staff at the Timber Yard cafe, very helpful and getting requests done with ease for food and drink. Lots of walks to be done, family friendly and buggy friendly. Also steep incline to house from car park so there is a mini bus you can use to get you up to top with ease if you need it. The grounds are very scenic and worth a visit, highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We worked with Urban Haus to design and fit our kitchen as part of an extension project. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The initial design stage didn’t take long but then Jill had endless patience in working with us over a period of months to ensure that we were happy with every detail; their showroom was great for us see exactly what we were getting and if something we were considering wasn’t in stock they would order samples. We never felt rushed or pressured into make decisions and found Jill’s advice invaluable. The fitting was professional and to a high standard as was the customer service from all members of the team in dealing with inevitable unforeseen queries that every build encounters. We were able to create a bespoke kitchen of an excellent quality and throughout felt as though we were working with a local, family business who really cared about the end product as much as we did. We’re absolutely delighted with the end result.”
