“Small but well equipped and managed soft play centre. The space is used really well so that parents can see the kids at (nearly) all times and there is enough for the kids to play on that they can be really exhausted! Staff are great, and (as it's next to a pub) the facilities are great.”

“Wasn't expecting much following the reviews on here, but make a judgement for yourself as I found the staff and the hotel to be pleasant- some of the guests less so! I stayed for work over a period of a few days, and it's clear that its the same staff every day from reception open till close. Im unsure if they are also the owners but it gives a very 'family run' style feel that is comforting. After my first night, I was asked how I was coping with the warm weather and to be sure to ask if I needed anything. I was also periodically asked how the room was, and felt extremely safe as a female travelling solo. The hotel is on a main road, but is neighbouring a nice residential area and a church, which gives it a peaceful feel. The amenities in the room are fantastic, the fridge and microwave honestly looked brand new. I'll be honest in that I brought antibacterial wipes to clean the sides following some reviews, but the wipes were as clean as they were fresh out of the packet after wiping down all the surfaces. While the room itself is a tad dated, it has more character than your standard travelodge! Honestly a great hotel with pleasant staff. Can't fault it and honestly wish I was working in the area again to return!”

“I eat here regularly and im always happy with the food and if the portion size isn't as much as I like they always put extra in without charge they just want you to be happy and I alway am. Tonight I ordered, rang through and wasn't happy as I was tryin to make sure I got the extra I Normally do after going to the shop and speaking to the guy on the phone I realised I was in the wrong and once the food was delivered it had as u can expect more than I ordered, so the point of the review is to make people aware the foods outstanding and the service is second to none also the staff provide a great service so thank you to everyone at mians il be back and see you guys soon”

“I will always be grateful to the very talented Psychologist at The Children's Rooms. The progress that was made in 1 month of weekly sessions with a Psychologist was unbelievable compared to the regression that had occurred being under the care of CAMHS for 9 years! Camhs had said my autistic child wasn't suitable for therapy, that it wouldn't be useful and that he couldn't engage. I'm so very glad we were able to turn things around for him with the genuine and individualised support he received at The Room's as soon as they took him under their wing. I feel very blessed that someone is finally helping my son with the overwhelming challenges he faced and at the same time feel deeply sorry for all those other young people who are being left without the support and therapy they need in the NHS Children's Mental Health service in this country. I cannot recommend The Room's more highly. It is a sorry shame that it took me 9 years to find them.”

“Really nice bowling alley. The lanes are a little bit shorter than at a normal bowling alley but just enjoy the ego boost. You pay by time which is great as we managed to get 2 1/2 games in the 40 minute slot (2 people). Decent bar as well with a good range. Didn't eat but the food smelt tasty. Will definitely be back.”
