The Salutation Pub
● Open“Great pub - genius idea - proper immaculate Victorian boozer (superb architecture) - as a student union bar. Tucked away amidst the increasingly impressive high rise MMU campus - it's a real oasis with decent ale and well priced grub (Inc selection of Pie Minister specials). Nice touch with a blue plaque inside commemorating Frank Side Bottom's last go. Well worth checking out.”

Fairfield Arms
● Open“I have previously visited Fairfield Arms in the past, I went again recently and took pictures of the front. The amazing work done to the amazing building is awesome. Dazzling and flickering Christmas lights, makes it looks like more of a 5 star hotel than a lovely pub. Always looking amazing with these views. Staff were so friendly when serving us. Credits to the team for having such a welcoming vibe. Kind regards, Aaron.”

-
Kro Bar
● Open“The burgers were delicious. The vegan Thai tofu stir fried noodles were also very delicious, which is remarkable considering that this place does not specialise in Asian cuisine. It’s very close to the university so it’s often frequented by students, which might explain why the prices are quite cheap. If you’re coming by car, find a parking spot in advance. There’s some free roadside parking on Cecil Street, which is about a 7 minute walk away.”
-
Piccadilly Central Bar and Kitchen
● Open“The best boozer in the Piccadilly area. Mike and Keith are the best publicans, Really entertaining to talk to and genuine people to boot. You won't go wrong grabbing a few pints here or digging in for the evening and the rhubarb gin and ginger ale just seems to taste better here.”
-
The Bank

Dark beer is available in the form of the omnipresent Guinness. Vegan and vegetarian options are available like the Burger with beyond meat. A rock solid choice you can't go wrong with. A clear recommendation!”

The staff where lovely polite couldn't do enough for us, there a credit to the pub. Thank you. The food was amazing it all arrived at the same time which is great considering there was 12 of us. Everyone enjoyed there meal with only one fault, my father in law had the steak and mushroom Pie and it was too salty but he didn't complain.
