"The food was just about OK. We went in on a big birthday party. The mixed grill, the chicken was so dry and the steak was tough. My partners lasagne just lacked any tase whatsoever and was really bland. The Sunday roast beef was slightly on the tough side. That put aside there was a nice atmosphere in the pub and the beer was excellent and the staff were so good, nice and friendly. I would certainly return for drinks but not food."
"Go here often but probably due to being local. The food is good but service varies. Some things bit overpriced for 'pub grub'. Had the Sunday roast last week. Nice enough but ridiculous wait for food."
"A lovely looking place with friendly staff my only complaint would be that the Sunday roast comes with cold meat which really spoils the meal even with the bottomless gravy. The mash is exquisite but comes with quite a small serving and the roast potatoes are drier than the Sahara. I regret not getting a burger! Definitely will visit again"
