“THE WAY HAJJ AND UMRAH SHOULD BE DONE! I went to Umrah in the last 10 days of Ramadhan through Hissar Travel. I dealt with brother Salih who helped me and guided me along each step. I had a hassle & stress free experience from start to finish. I had my transfers from airport to hotel and Madinah to Makkah arranged with out any struggle. Hissar Travel was in touch with me through the trip and had english speaking guides which was really helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

“I'd initially booked a two week jaunt to South Africa for my Dads 60th and after months of uncertainty we got the call that it couldn't go ahead. Despite this, Black Opal had stayed in touch throughout the entire experience, reassuring us that they would do everything in their power to make it happen. Alas, it was out of their hands. Black Opal quickly arranged an alternative trip to Murrayfield to at least watch the Lions on home soil and what a day it was, we saw all of the players board the buses prior to playing and a stellar 3 course meal with guest speakers. We had great seats and the atmosphere was as good as we could of expected. Black Opal accommodated a payment method they did not previously accept for me to pay for the entire trip and we got great rates for the initial trip to South Africa and the revised trip to Edinburgh. I'd not used a travel operator before, but I can assure you reading this and Black Opal I do not intend to go elsewhere ever again for sports excursions. Special mention to Ben Collis for the initial handling of my enquiry but my utmost thanks and appreciation goes to Kathryn Morris who was instrumental in the handling of our initial trip when it was in limbo and arranging our trip to Edinburgh. I cannot recommend this group enough.”

“I found myself in a totally alien position of getting behind with payments and being mislead by a PPI company regarding money due to me. Combined with a 5 month no pay due to COVID19. I was seriously concerned about my financial situation and had to get help. I was fortunate enough to speak with Neil Cooper who didn't make me feel an idiot for getting into the position, and went a long way to calm my nerves and anxiety that was taking over my life. The Company is extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring all the things that you need when you are in such a difficult place. I would recommend them to anyone in a similar position. Rooms are lovely and clean and well stocked with the normal tea, coffee etc Breakfast is excellent, so much choice and cooked to order. 5 minute walk to Dunham Massey and lovely homely pub next door with a real coal fire”

The service staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. This was our second visit here in the last month and the food is always amazing, top quality and makes you feel like your visiting India. “A great place to spend quality time with my children well away from screens! Nerd has a huge variety of board games and staff were on hand to help us choose and get to grips with the rules. The food is healthy and tasty with a good range of options. We will definitely be back!”

“Just returned from our Fabulous holiday at Villa Verde. There were 8 ladies celebrating a Birthday with me. The villa is stunning with great facilities. Fantastic pool and outside eating area. The real Algarve ladies arranged the following for us at my request. The wine tasting experience with Nuno which was informative but not overly so and was great fun which left us all a bit tipsy. He is a great guy very professional but very friendly. Also the private charter boat trip through Timeless Moments which was the highlight of our holiday. Lots of great photos of a beautiful area along the coast at sunset. The two man crew were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend this company. Hope to be able to return to The Algarve again in the near future.”

“Fabulous, fabulous food, nice staff, WAY better than the ridiculous dire Altrincham Market. I left the Tender Cow (TC) in the Market after a disgusting meal and found this brilliant cafe. Tender Cow has No customer care, just a very bad attitude, my steak was swimming in sauce. Other restaurants would and do welcome feedback. It's how they stay open. No one wants 27 tonnes of sauce, you had to find the steak. Way too much sauce, no standards before food sent out. It could have been cardboard, you couldn't taste the meat, which made it pointless. At Altrincham Market silly prices you hope they had some skills? I took back the food to Tender Cow to offer feedback, and they couldn't care. Zero care. They just said ok. And ignored us....No refund, no replacement. In Lisbon we sent back a steak for a similar issue and the owner's came out to thank us, to adapt, to keep customers. A free replacement, and we return lots to that restaurant.”

“Popped in to use the bar as we were waiting for teens to finish a birthday meal across the road. There was nowhere open to grab a coffee at 6.30pm on a snowy December eve. Although we were not dining in we were welcomed as any guest and the service was excellent even if it was for only 2 coffees and a beer. We are looking forward to coming back for a meal soon. “A great place to walk a dog. I've been going to john Leigh park since for ever. The path all round is a great little walk. It has two park areas for the kids. One for bigger kids then further round one for the younger kids which has a fence all around it. It has a small aviary. There are always loads of people there when it's a sunny day and the ice cream man parks up in it on warm days too. It has tennis courts/ football/ and basketball courts. It is a very popular place with dog walkers so not a place to go if petrified of dogs.”

Sam the owner takes the time to come out of the kitchen and make sure everything is fine personally, and our server Brooke was super attentive and helpful the whole night. We'll definitely be returning to this delightful eatery in the future.”

“What a lovely restaurant. I went with the In Laws so we had a table of 4. Service was exceptional and they couldn’t do enough for you. Drinks came quick and they were always asking if we are ok. The interior was lovely and a chilled vibe to the place. Having never had Sri Lankan food I didn’t know what to expect. It’s kinda like Indian but more spicier so be prepared. We really enjoyed it. Will go again very soon and will look to see if they do take out because I would prefer it to an Indian on a Saturday night at home. This restaurant was a very welcome surprise you won’t be disappointed.”
