The Horseshoe
“Went in here for a WiFi connection and had a pint so's not to be rude. Lady behind the bar very helpful and beer very reasonably priced. At the risk of stereotyping, I'm guessing this is an Irish bar judging by the majority accent and the general friendliness of the clientele. I'll be back again!”
The Dog & Partridge
“This pub is working hard to get over the pandemic. Great live music and good beer prices. The food has a good reputation at good prices. Sunday lunch was recommended by 3 separate people so we will give it a try. Lots of parking Anwar the bus and tram stops.”
The Bull's Head
“Pleasant old fashioned pub, very very good beer. Does take cards and cash.”
Goat's Gate
“I'm 62 yrs of age and been in many venues but pub is the cleanest one I have ever been in. The landlady is very friendly and the customers are too. Will definitely be going in here again”

Daisyfield Inn Oldham
“Lovely public house with a great beer garden and an outside function room. Smallish car park with room for maybe 12 cars. Been living in the local neighbourhood for almost 13 years and never knew this existed. Well done for turning a small local pub into a great venue for small parties. Will be visiting again.”

Millstone
“Brilliant pub, quiet and peaceful, with a great history! Used to be a music hall back in the 1800's so has been there for a long time. If you want a quiet drink or catch the footie it's a great place to go. Also a great place to have meet ups and functions too! They have a nice little back room that our theatre company rehearses in from time to time and they are always very nice and accomodating! Seriously can't praise this place enough!”
Boundary Stone
“Went to the Boundary Stone for a family meal on Thursday 10/11/2022 it was our first time and already booked for next week. Food was very tasty and well presented we all enjoyed our meals. All the staff was extremely welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend very cosy.”
Pizza Express
“Come for a quick lunch here just before The Lion King. This restaurant had been refurbished to the new look and it looks great. There was a great guy on the door with black Balenciaga trainers on who was really friendly. The server we had called Sophie was really top rate. I can't complain at all. Excellent service and always attentive. Someone get this lady a bottle for Christmas!”
Griffin
“Me, my wife and daughter ate here on our daughter's recommendation and we're glad we did. The standard menu offered good choices but we all took the opportunity to opt for the specials board. The food was delicious. The vegetarian and vegan options were particularly welcome. In short, The Griffin is highly recommended if you are looking for friendly staff and great food”
Town Hall Tavern
“I find this place relaxing great staff good live music on Sunday. It just makes a difference in Oldham as this town is short of good places”
The Navigation
“Nice beer and a nice out side area they have spent quite a lot of money and it looks nice. Definitely children friendly as they have no exits workout going through the pup, for them to get out.”
Lord Nelson
“I've given this five stars because the DJ that was on that night was brilliant. I was on soft drinks and don't really like dancing but I danced all night. I have only been here once before, years ago but the atmosphere is much better now. I felt that the last time I was here, everyone seemed very tense as though it was going to kick off any minute. It's more relaxed and friendly now and I would definitely come back.”
The Flying Horse
