“I spent a few months on this ward between 2021 and 2022 and the amount of help and support i received has helped me so much. The team works really well together in helping patients on there pathways to recovery and the ward is very up to date and modern. Staff manage crisis point very well in a calm manor which helps de escalate situations and are very good at dealing with physical health issues (contacting doctors and following/creating care plans around diagnoses). i really don’t think i could fault this ward they did everything they possibly could to give me the best treatment.”

I got in touch with CAYP and was very quickly matched with Dr Holly Hadfield who has experience and expertise in this field and age range. I was able to have a conversation with Dr Holly before committing to anything and I found that very useful. We had some sessions over Zoom which, for my husband and I, was very helpful as we could both attend (whilst the children were sleeping). During the sessions we felt like we were really able to get our worries/ my daughters challenges across and our concerns were listened to intently. We have received some really good advice which has resulted it a very smooth school transition for our daughter. What my husband and I perhaps found most helpful was a professional telling us that lots of the things we were already doing were great and to carry on with those, along with some new techniques and ideas to try. “Had 4 brand new Pirelli P zero run flat tyres fitted on to my car by Quick Lane a couple of days ago had some insurance issues. Rang them up yesterday morning and spoke to a staff member there who put me through to a manager called Duncan, lovely gentleman easy to speak to. Explained the situation to him, he said he will look in to it and ring me back and when he did he asked no questions, no ifs and no buts. Just said I shall order 4 brand new Pirelli P Zeros the ones you would like as soon as I get off the phone and you can bring it in the morning and I’ll have it sorted for you. Went there this morning told me a ramp will be free in half an hour and will take a further hour to put them on. Came back after an hour after going to get some breakfast the car was done. Checked it over with me, thanked Duncan and off I went. Duncan managed the situation with the highest level of professionalism and he is a really nice guy. I will be going there again all because of the way I was treated, the service the whole team had provided and how the situation was dealt with.”
