“Been here twice. Both times really enjoyed it. Cosy and friendly The service was fantastic the food and atmosphere was great with the chill out music. I had afternoon tea the first time which was lovely and the vegan wrap and home made soup second time. Really good value for money and very tasty. Little gem in Gee Cross.will be going again soon”

“We have stayed at this PI regularly for about 15 years so that we can visit family. Even though team members have changed, it is still staffed by a great team of friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Thank you all! However, over the last couple of years, a very clear and "uncomfortable" demarcation has evolved between this PI and the associated restaurant. The restaurant has extremely rigid rules for eating times etc. and enforces them in a forthright manner... it makes the whole hotel experience unpleasant. We prefer to eat at the great Café in Tesco, a short walk away. The staff are really lovely and the food is good - far less stressful.”

“Looking for a nursery for your child is one of the most stressful and worrying times, especially if your child like ours has a medical condition. OI is basically brittle bone disease, so nursey setting had to be right. After visiting a few nurseries we had almost given up hope, then The yellow door came up and it was the best decision to send our son here. It's like home from home, staff are informative and nursery settings are natural and beautiful. Risk assessments took place and support offered was amazing, he has grown in confidence and development. So happy we made the right choice .”

“Wouldn’t take our Cockerspaniel anywhere else. We have used the salon for years for our first dog and now our puppy. Incredible professional and well trained staff who obviously have a great love for their job and all the doggies they look after. The glasses are always clean, the pub is too and all the customers are having a great time and there is never any mither. The staff are fantastic too. I totally love this pub.”
