The Yellow Door Day Nursery

"We cannot fault The Yellow Door and have recommended to all our friends looking for nurseries in the area. Our 1yo boy started recently and he’s flourishing - the girls & Chris are fantastic, you can really see they are passionate about what they do. Edit: would like to call out all of the girls in the Buttercups room for being so caring. Ange who always greets us with a smile and Michele! As an anxious first time mum I did a lot of research on nurseries in the area. The Yellow Door felt like a home from home and had such a great vibe that I just hadn’t got elsewhere. I particularly love that there’s an app for updates throughout the day - you can see what your little one has been getting up to (baby yoga, singing, messy play, mealtimes - I could go on). Really impressed overall and if ever there’s another babe on the horizon for us, The Yellow Door will absolutely be our choice of nursery again, without a doubt."

"We couldn't have picked a better nursery for our son. He absolutely LOVES going to The Yellow Door and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. Thee children are always kept busy and engaged, always doing something different. The staff are amazing and you can tell they really care about what they do and love to see the children develop. We get regular updates and pictures through the app. They are very eco conscious, which was one reason we picked them as well as recommendations and their teaching style. The Nursery has a lovely homely feel. If we could give 10 stars we would. Highly highly recommend!"

"Looking for a nursery for your child is one of the most stressful and worrying times, especially if your child like ours has a medical condition. OI is basically brittle bone disease, so nursey setting had to be right. After visiting a few nurseries we had almost given up hope, then The yellow door came up and it was the best decision to send our son here. It's like home from home, staff are informative and nursery settings are natural and beautiful. Risk assessments took place and support offered was amazing, he has grown in confidence and development. So happy we made the right choice ."

"From the minute I walked in this nursery before it had even opened, I got such warm feeling. Michele the owner is a lovely lady who always has a smile on her face. The staff are amazing, each and everyone of them. Chris & Paige looked after my daughter and she loved them, she was always happy when I took her and picked her up. My little girl loved it here, its sad to see her leave. Just want to say another big thank you to each and everyone of you! X"

"Our little girl has attended the Yellow Door for over a year now. Every day she is excited and happy to attend and thrives. We have a good relationship with all staff who are always happy to help and communicate clearly. Activities to suit every day including lots of messy play which we love. I have older children who have attended other nurseries in the area and can honestly say The Yellow Door by far shines above the rest."
