"What a gem this place is it still has its Original bar. the staff are lovely and attentive. The food is is amazing no nonsense grub . The cheese and onion pie is amazing. The best I’ve ever had."

"Very traditional old pub. Traditional in the fact that I don't think anything has been moved since it was built. That is not a bad thing by any means, it is so nice to see a traditional pub with mod cons (karaoke, DJ etc). The food I have heard is excellent, although this information is second hand but from an avid diner, this is gold star in their world. Have a pint and a gander."
