“Incredible cinema, great atmosphere. You can have food and drinks served to you whilst you watch your movie. Great night out.”

“Overwhelmingly positive experience. Got recommended a rare wine from Uruguay that was the best wine I’ve tried. The meat variety and quality is ridiculously good, the waiters keep coming to offer new cuts of meat with a span of minutes until you stop them, and trust me you will. I was there for 2 and a half hours and ate all I could, nobody rushed me and the service is 10/10. I would highly recommend this place either for a date, going out with friends or family. It’s great for any case. I’ll have to fast for a day after this, but worth it!”

“This is what a pub should be. Great Ale served at the table, great conversation where everyone joins in, no muzak, no telly, no slots, no lager louts And its now changed, there inverted mushrooms on the ceiling to dampen the non existing sound that reaches the ears of the idiot upstairs.”

“Tasty, appealing food. Good service and yummy mocktails. We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “Great place! It's small so I'd recommend booking. Even on a cold wet tuesday night it was busy. Food is excellent. Didnt know Indian Scottish tapas existed before eating here. Nice and relaxed but attentive service. Theyve got that spot on. Alastair was really helpful with choices. Will definitely be back.”

“We really love this pub and pizza place. The beers are expertly kept and the staff are very friendly. We had a couple of pizzas when we were there last and they were exactly what we wanted and needed. Good atmosphere, great bee, tasty food. What more do you need?”

“I have been to many functions at this venue and always had a great night. Always made to feel welcome even when I have been there on my own. The staff are very friendly and also very accomodating when I have held events there. One such event was on the 14th August where it was a great night and the staff even helped decorate the room as well as cleared everything into a tidy area for us to collect the next day. I noticed a 1* review from a guest at the previous event.. The lady claims to have been Merry but not drunk yet was abusive and confontational to other guest including myself. Later at her hotel it took 8 police officers to escort her from her room after she constantly tried to attack on of her own party. If thats not drunk I'd hate to see how you behave when you are? The fact this lady 2 weeks later is still trying to cause trouble, speaks more about her than the venue she is trying to bad mouth.”

“Celebrated a birthday with work and the food and service were incredible! Food was cooked fresh with good size portions. The owner and staff went out of their way to serve us and provide our order. I'd recommend the chicken jalfrezi. A top night!”

“Excellent staff, beer and prices. Visited this at the weekend when Manchester was baking and City was playing their first home game of the season. So was a little worried about what the service would be like. I needn't have worried. Fast friendly service all day. We stopped just for one, but when we got seats and a table in the sun and had our first pint of Jimmy's Cider, one quickly turn into half a dozen! Even though the place was hammered before kick-off time the service was wonderful. I had just had a very bad experience at the Crown and Kettle and boy oh boy they could do with visiting here and seeing what customer service is all about. Will be back again. Thanks all for making our day!”

“Was here a few months back, forgot to write a review. Booked an early lunch time table for family we were visiting. Food was really good, pub very clean, staff super friendly. Will be coming again in December as my family want to visit again.”

“Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”

“Amazing place, perfect hidden gem in the heart of Manchester. The room was perfect, with vaulted ceilings, a king plus size bed, massive TV, and a Tea and resting area. The morning breakfast included was delicious as well. Elliott went out of his way to make our stay a remarkable one. I highly recommend staying here.”

“Cannot fault this place. Room was perfect, spotless and had everything we needed - including an iron, hairdryer plus extras like bath robes. Breakfast each morning was lovely, lots of choice and fresh made. We had room on the 16th floor so night time was just beautiful. Nothing was a problem for staff who were chatty and friendly even when it was super busy. Would most definitely stay here again.”

“My partner and myself have just returned from a fantastic 2 course meal at this little treasure of a pub. The 3 for £10 starters were presented beautifully and were delicious, and our main courses were equally impressive. The portions were extremely generous, the landlord and the young lady on the bar were extremely friendly and helpful, the chef was lovely and everything was just perfect. One of the best meals out we've had for a long time!”

“Stayed overnight to see Peter Kay. Lovely hotel, large room with a very comfy bed. Huge television. Couldn't beat the price either. Didn't use the pub/restaurant but it looked great and lively. Amazing location and easy to get to from the train station. Will definitely stay again.”
