Under new management we found the staff to be very welcoming, the food was excellent with great presentation and our dog enjoyed the treats and cosy fire! We wish the owners luck in their new venture and look forward to visiting again when we are back up north. Highly recommend this charming pub."
"We were out for a drive, decided to stop off for a Sunday roast, first time we've been. Wow, it was gorgeous, all freshly cooked, nothing cooked from frozen. Good size portions of roast pork, apple sauce, veg etc. More importantly it was all lovely. Friendly, helpful staff and owner too. Keep up the good work, we'll defo be back."
