“Went here for Christmas lunch. I had Pate to start and the Christmas Burger for main. It was spot on and the staff were very welcoming. Pub has a lovely feel to it and I would certainly return. Many thanks guys”

One of them being live music. Sometimes it is heavy metal though... my favourite meal is the quesadilla with home made chips and a shake (not decided on my favourite yet). “Honestly I don't know any other food, how it is cooked. However when it comes to sea food, this place is definitely underrated. Price is super reasonable and taste is beyond expectation. Seafood platter for 2 people are about 40 pounds (20 pounds per person) including rice and salad each. Taste of fish was not too salty or too greasy. It is just worth of visit and if anybody likes seafood, this is the place to visit 100 percent sure!”

“First time, wanted to visit for ages. Greetings very good, no fuss to the table. Drinks ordered (thanks for the large prosecco). Italian tapas style so for four we had 11 dishes, they come out when they are ready. All dishes really tasty, well seasoned and a good variety. Service excellent, thanks to the team”

“Came for my birthday lunch after a recommendation. Barrio did not disappoint! The staff here are absolutely lovely and a big bonus is that they're dog friendly! We sat in the secret back garden which was cute and spacious enough that our greyhound could happily lie down on the floor without being in the way. We ordered the breakfast tacos and pibil sandwich, both of which were tasty. Hopefully will come back again to try the dinner menu which I was eyeing up too! Forgot to take pictures of the food, but did take a photo of my happy dog :)”

“This cafe is well talked about and very popular with the locals. It's a hidden gem of Stockport. If you like a Sunday afternoon tea this is the place. Lots of little cakes and good quality tea, the thing to have is the teared plates. But will set you back 15 per person. But well worth it. Little sandwiches. Nice. It's all art deco... so it makes you feel like you should dress up to visit!! Service is quite posh here. Love the 1930 feel.”
