Stockport Nerf Centre
● Closed“Had my son Cameron’s 8th birthday party today at Stockport Nerf Centre and EVERYONE absolutely loved it The guys running the place are very professional but know how to have fun Myself and another Dad were lucky enough to get involved albeit a tad reluctant at first but then my inner kid took over and I was in the zone. Thank you to all the guys running the place that made my sons birthday very special. This is a must for boys or girls of all ages as it’s just so much fun. Cheers John McQuillan”

Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre
● Open“Really enjoyed my stay here. Clean, comfortable and quiet despite being pretty busy. What I really appreciated was the fact it appears to have enough staff. Ever since the pandemic we've had to deal with places being understaffed and all the negatives that brings. Here, you don't have to sit and be patient as some under-trained, overworked teenager struggles to accomplish basic tasks. There are enough people and they know what they're doing. They are also friendly in doing it. I'd definitely stay here again.”

Premier Inn Manchester Central hotel
● Open“I've stayed at this Premier Inn many times and I have to say, it's a very good spot. The location is great, with McDonald's just around the corner and Chinatown only a 5-minute walk away. Plus, every time we stay here we discover new parts of Manchester that we haven't seen before. It's at the quieter end of Manchester which is always a plus. The hotel is also very close to the train stop, so it's easy to get around. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good, with a decent variety of options available. Overall, I highly recommend this Premier Inn. The location is great, it's at the quieter end of Manchester and it's easy to access other parts of the city. Plus the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable”

Leonardo Hotel Manchester Central - Formerly Jurys Inn
● Open“As an asthmatic and someone who suffers from mild claustrophobia, it’s really important to be able to open the window of hotel rooms that I stay in. This is proving more and more difficult these days as so many hotels have no regard for guests basic need for fresh air. I was delighted that you can open the window in my room at this hotel. In Manchester for a conference, it is even more important to have fresh air when you’ve been inside all day. The rooms were bright, clean and spacious and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a long time - high, supportive and the right balance of firm and soft. 24 hour room service and a good choice of items at breakfast. I’ll definitely be staying again.,”

Trafford Watersports Centre, Manchester
● Closed“Visited on Sunday 18th April 2021 - Pay and Paddle / Self Launch With the current C-19 restrictions, we've not been able to get to the lake district for a while, and were looking for somewhere close to home for a relaxed family paddle. We have our own boats and equipment, so were looking for somewhere we could self launch and enjoy some family time. After speaking to one of their really helpful staff, Shannon, by email - we booked a two slots online for the early morning. Arriving about 15 minutes before our time to check in, we were issued with tags for our boats and given details on where we could paddle (there was a water polo game in progress in a small area, and in the afternoon the deeper end of the lake hosts powered craft and some open water swimmers. We were lucky with the weather, warm, sunny with only a slight wind - as otherers have mentioned, some areas of the lake are fairly shallow, however this didn't cause us to ground out either kayak, or struggle paddling. The water was exceptionally clear and there was plenty of wildlife - keeping a respectful distance - the kids enjoyed seeing the gees and swan nests. It was a great fun day out, exceptional value for money and one we plan to recreate as soon as we're able! Thank you to everyone on site!”

Manchester Dog Groomers
● Closed“I had looked and rang around many groomers before booking in with smartbreeders, the lady I spoke to was very helpful and everything was covered on the call! I ended up taking her on a Saturday which was better for me but they aren't usually open weekends just that a girl had to make up a day! I’ve had my rescue zeena for 2 months now and had her groomed at pets at home first off but it was not a great experience, it was rushed, she was unfinished and I will not be returning again! The girl at smartbreeders was extremely helpful and profession, asked about zeena and what I want for her! I was worried as the previous groom said she screamed and didn’t like anything with the noise and had just had to do the best she could! Smartbreeders had her for around 3 hours so I went off to do some errand! They done exactly what I had asked for and she came out happy and looking beautiful! The girl even text me to tell me how she was and that she was doing great and to pick up whenever! I highly recommend them! Although it is across manchester 30 mins away and only weekdays I will definitely be using them going forward and will work around it! I will recommend to everyone! See for yourself!!”
