"Staff are friendly, but the gym is pretty basic… and is like going back in time to the noughties… feels a bit like an old people’s home too. I swear one old guy would just sit on the equipment and not exercise, which is annoying because they don’t have much kit to begin with."

"I don't use the gym so can't comment on it. I do use the swimming pool and never have any problems with overcrowding. There are some occasions when swimming lessons are going on in the main pool so they section off part of the pool. Not really a hassle most of the time. Changing rooms are average but can be annoying when the light which is in a sensor switches off and the sensor is at the other end of the changing room. Lockers are 20p nonrefundable. I use the pool several times a week and buy a 12 swim pass which is the price of 10 swims."
