“I love coming here with my little one! The food offered is really thoughtfully made for babies and children. They offer a variety of dishes such as a snack plate (containing cut fruits and veg, breadstick, raisins etc) and also a 'hidden veg' pasta which is a great success with my LO. The staff are soooo friendly and kind - they always stop for a chat and are a real pick-me-up if I've had a tough day with LO. The cafe is sectioned into different play areas for LO's to play safely while you wait for your coffee. Highchairs are provided and the tables are always clean. This is such a safe and caring environment for mums, dads, grandparents and kids!”

“Absolutely loved buying my pram from here! Steve and his staff are just the friendliest people and they know everything..we felt so comfortable and had all our queries answered. Their service is brilliant, each time you go he makes you feel so welcomed. Especially as its my first pregnancy I had no previous experience so this was the perfect place for me. There’s a brilliant selection of high quality prams and they even steam them for you and fit everything in the car. Not many places offer this. Makes you feel at ease..which is just what you want before the baby arrives!”

“Really enjoyed my time there. We had a lot of fun doing the 90min escape from the tomb room. Ben our host was polite and fun to work with. We asked nicely and we’re also allowed to take a couple of beers in with us too. We had a massive laugh and will be going back to do the other rooms that they have!”

“Our daughter Evelyn has attended Scamps since Jan 2015 and our younger daughter is due to start this September. We did quite a lot of research before choosing this nursery and have not been disappointed. I would rate Scamps overall as excellent, as it's recent ranking as top day nursery in the North West bears out.”

“Visited 25/10/2022, very popular location and lots of parking but fills up fast too. Great staff at the Timber Yard cafe, very helpful and getting requests done with ease for food and drink. Lots of walks to be done, family friendly and buggy friendly. Also steep incline to house from car park so there is a mini bus you can use to get you up to top with ease if you need it. The grounds are very scenic and worth a visit, highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Lots to see and do at Quarry Bank. Plenty of picnic benches for packed lunches, accessible toilet and baby change facilities were good. My 6 year old enjoyed completing the Easter egg hunt and I thought the gardens were magnificent. Good family day out.”

“Love this place for quite contemplation. Comfy, cosy. Lovely staff. Usually a pot of tea and white chocolate and blueberry scone. Love to meet during the day and live music towards and during the weekend.”

“Took my one year old daughter here yesterday, me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed playing with her in the young section of the place. Parking was a bit awkward as it was busy. But once inside, great food to choose from and I like how we could take our time and enjoy the experience without rushing. My daughter loved crawling around and also the sensory room we found it great. Will definitely come back!”

“Both my children attended High Legh Preschool and had such a wonderful time. They loved the homely environment and were always so well cared for. When they moved to the new building they enjoyed the beautiful outdoors space, being surrounded by nature and all the amazing field trips they went on to local farms and the garden centre for example. The close links they have with High Legh Primary school are fantastic for when they transitioned into reception class. Would not hesitate to recommend, especially with the new baby room opening in 2020.”

“Absolutely amazing nursery highly recommend most secure and safest nursery in Northwich I searched all over Northwich for the best nursery and this was the best one out of all of them the the care and plans and safety that have been put in place for my daughter due to her disabilitys are out of this world with this nursery you are not just a number you feel part of one big family all of the staff there are absolutely amazing very polite friendly and very welcoming I will be sticking with this nursery for my next child all day long”

“Small but well equipped and managed soft play centre. The space is used really well so that parents can see the kids at (nearly) all times and there is enough for the kids to play on that they can be really exhausted! Staff are great, and (as it's next to a pub) the facilities are great.”

“Can't fault them. Came here with my kids for a relative's son's birthday. They had a great time. It's also very spacious and very clean. Staff were extremely nice. My son was ill in the car before we arrived. They couldn't have been more helpful in getting him, me and the car cleaned up. Thank you.”

“Great nursery! Our daughter has attended for almost 3 years in the summer. She has thrived and thrived, and she is SO ready for reception in September & thanks to Macc Day Nursery I feel she’ll be ready for this. Great nursery, great activities, whether it’s forest school or stretch & grow they’re always doing something different, trips out into town. Our daughter has made lots of friends, made attachments to staff members, just really enjoys herself. It will be sad for her to leave, but we recommend 10/10, fabulous nursery!”
