“Spent a weekend at the Gardens Hotel. The hotel is centrally located, close to tram stops, the railway station and the main shopping areas. There are three good museums within 20 minutes of the hotel as well as plenty of places to eat! The hotel itself was great - the room (117) was spacious and clean, with a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and very good shower. The cooked breakfast was very good, and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. On our final day we were allowed to store our luggage there while we spent our final day in Manchester. Only negative point is that there is a pub and a nightclub behind the hotel that can get noisy! But despite that, I would happily come back to stay here and can definitely recommend this hotel!”

“Staff..are very helpful. And caring. Best hotel i have stayed at. Wheel chair. Facilities clean I have stayed at a lot of hotels i would recommend this hotel. Better than the Hilton hotel . because of the owner he is most helpful goes out of his way to help others and his son.all staff are polite best hotel i have stayed at they have respect for people who stay here sometimes it's not about the hotel it is the people who run it Good caring people at the park crest. at the Hilton. Bad disrespectful management and bad staff would rather stay here than the Hilton fantastic hotel”

“Staff,service,breakfast,dinner,hospitality and rooms were amazing!! Big shoutout to the waiter and the main desk staff for having a big approach,very talkative and helpful! Loved it! It's a little bit far from the centre,but it only takes 10-15 minutes with a Bolt/Uber. enjoyed the stay!”

“The host Barry couldn’t have been more welcoming. I had booked a single room but was upgraded to a double room which was lovely and very large. I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely deep bath and a really large TV. The hotel is being renovated so the upstairs area is not yet completed but it has so much potential. The Bar is beautiful and has a lovely terrace which is very popular. The price was very very reasonable. I would really recommend it. As a single female I felt very safe”

“We have stayed here twice in the past & found Kevin to be the perfect host. How people who have never stayed there can comment on the Springfield based on a TV program says more about them than it does about Kevin. How would they like their business run down by people who have not used it? The room was perfect for our needs & the breakfast more than adequate & cooked exactly to our liking. Kevin even offered to give us a lift to a local club as it was raining. We plan on staying again in the near future as soon as the current situation eases and the Springfield will definitely be our first choice in the area. My advice to anyone thinking of staying here? Read reviews of customers & not sad couch potatoes.”

“The rooms were lovely and had a tv, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The mattresses and pillows were lovely n clean. Most of the staff were very happy n helpful. The restaurant was very nice and the food was good. There were plenty of choices from the buffet. They also had fresh fruit that u could help yourself to. I would certainly go back there!”

“Awesome little hotel above a pub in the heart of the Northern Quarter. Great distance to amazing food and bars and just a short walk to transport and the city centre. The rooms are immaculate; clean comfy beds and a nice hot shower. The music from the pub downstairs is pretty invasive but it stops around midnight. Really nice room in an awesome spot for a decent price, definitely recommend.”

“After a recommendation from my daughter I booked The Cottage. What a wonderful find. Great place to stay so clean and comfortable. Lovely woodfire makes it so cosy. Accommodation is great. The bedroom is very comfortable and you can see the stars when in bed. There is also a single room with twin beds. The garden is lovely my two dogs loved it and I knew they were safe as it is well fenced. Lovely walks round the area. After my weeks stay I felt so relaxed and can't wait to go back. A great find.”

“Clive is an amazing host. I have stayed with him twice already and plan to stay again. He met us on arrival and we were shown to a clean, bright double room. The bathroom was immaculate. We had use of communal spaces, so spent some time chatting over coffee. Clive has has a very interesting life, and his genuine care for people shines through. The property is close to the city. You can easily walk or take a taxi. Clive has a fantastic knowledge of the city, and will recommend places to eat if you need them.”

“We have just finished an amazing week’s honeymoon staying in Overlea Farm Cowshed. The cottage was incredible all round. I was particularly impressed with the decor and furnishing. Fantastic quality and great design. We loved the hot tub both on a morning looking out over the fields or on an evening looking at the stars. The fire was fantastic to keep toasty in the evening, though you get full control of the central heating anyway. The owners made us feel very welcome with a wonderful little welcome hamper. When we arrived there was gentle music playing on the Sonos system and a lovely scent from the diffusers. The location is fantastic for anyone with a car as it is super easy to access walks, restaurants and all the top sights in the Peaks within about 30 mins drive. We would absolutely recommend a stay here and would love to visit again.”

“We stayed in the shepherds hut was a comfortable couple of nights. Had a hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo , washing up liquid which surprised us . A pint of milk in fridge was a lovely welcome . Lots of books to read, we took a radio too . Very impressed with the hut and we will be back”

Rooms are lovely and clean and well stocked with the normal tea, coffee etc Breakfast is excellent, so much choice and cooked to order. 5 minute walk to Dunham Massey and lovely homely pub next door with a real coal fire”
