Nostra pizza
● Open“One thing you can always be sure of; your food will always be cooked to order and arrive as hot as it should. I've ordered approx 10 times via just eat, once or twice via deliveroo and once via their own website at 2 separate addresses and accounts. The Deets: - The strong point of Nostra is their kebabs, i've only tried each of their variations of chicken kebab, and the shish and they always come juicy and flavoursome, only once was the chicken kebab dry. The shish is definitely among the best, and i lived in rusholme for 3 years; small cubes of juicy flavoursome lamb, chargrilled. - The salad always arrives as if it was cut that day, always impressed with how fresh it is - NEVER disappointed. - The kebab bread is thin and charred but actually very pleasant; not too heavy and soaks up all the sauce and juices. - Chips are on the cheap side, but do the job. Always hot and cripsy and have a nice potato flavour. but dry and lack potato filling. This i actually have no problem with and rather enjoy. - Pizza just basic really but again, always hot and fresh. Maybe light on the toppings especially if you order double, but for the price i can't really complain. - My missus always orders hot wings and corn if that means anything Conclusion: If you want consistency you have found it. The fact that even their chips always come hot and fresh, and their salad is always crispy and fresh says a lot. You will always get freshly cooked food even if the quality is not stand out. However, the actual star of Nostra are the kebabs since they are so unique and great. Do yourself a favour and get a shish or chicken kebab with mint and chilli sauce”

OSMA
● Closed“Went there with my 14-year-old son on the way to a football game as I’ve heard good things. The food was absolutely unbelievable and the service was amazing as well. Also I thought the cost was pretty good less than £30 for a three course meal in the portions were big as well. What more could you ask for? Regards Lee Gueller”

Remal Restaurant
● Closed“I don't know why I travel all the way into Manchester City Centre when there are local places like this!! This place is a hidden gem! My friend ordered the potato kibbeh - these were small and delightful with a thin crusty texture on the outside and the mashed potato and lamb mince on the inside. I ordered the sucuk, thin slices of a spicy beef sausage - the flavours were strong and moreish. These were served with a basket of homemade white flatbread which were incredibly fresh and soft - they were pitta shaped but were fluffy and pillowy, not the hard dry white stuff you get in supermarkets! The waiter assured us that there was always plenty of bread available and sure enough we had another basket of lovely bread with our main courses. We both ordered the Chef's Mix which were skewers of charcoal grilled marinated meats - chicken, minced lamb and lamb shish pieces, served on a bed of onions and parsley and a chilli sauce. We also ordered a mudjadara rice between us as a side dish - a mix of lentils and rice cooked in spices and topped with crispy fried leeks. Yummy. We both agreed that although the flavour profile of the meats were quite similar to other nearby places (e.g. Turkish restaurants), the seasoning was better balanced here and most importantly, the cooking of the meat was excellent. Here, the chicken was succulent and tender, not dry and hard, and overall it looks like they know when to take it off the grill! At other places the charcoal grilling has left the meat hard and burnt at the edges with a bitterness - here everything was cooked just right. Although we were stuffed and were only considering an Arabic coffee, we both encouraged each other to go for a dessert. Unfortunately my friend's Halwa wasn't available so he joined me in a Muhallebia. Now normally I'm not one to bother with a dessert - I prefer crisps to chocolates and would rather have starter and main instead of main and dessert! And we were already incredibly stuffed! But this dessert blew my mind - a delicious milky pudding, not too dissimilar to a panna cotta but fluffier and less silky in texture. However, the flavours - wow the sweet vanilla with a tint of rose water, it was truly heaven and I haven't felt that way about any dessert for years! Garnished with chopped pistachios, this was for me the surprise star of the meal! Followed by strong and fragrant Arabic coffee, it was a fantastic end to a great dining experience. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, and I thought the decor, lighting and music was just perfect for the place. I highly recommend this place - it's small and relaxed and deserves attention. I hope it keeps these high standards up as I definitely want to come back and try the other offerings (and the Muhallebia again!).”

Babbo Cucina Italiana
● Closed“My partner and I went for our anniversary, the staff were really pleasant and attentive. Our food arrived really quickly and it tasted absolutely delicious. I had the rigatoni and my partner had the calzone, the beef in the rigatoni absolutely melted in your mouth it was beautiful, the dough on the calzone was so soft and perfectly cooked. My partner drank the house red which he said was the nicest house red he'd had in a long time and I had a Bellini (finally a place that actually knows how to make one!). Thank you to your staff for such a lovely night, the food, the decor, the drinks and the service were perfect.”

Ta'am
● Closed“Dear Taam, finally 1 Restaurant with delicious hot food in Manchester! I have been a few times in the past, and I really feel it just gets better and better. Coming from London, a city full of kosher restaurants, Taam really beats all of them, they know how to cook their food, even the dips, especially the chilli, it’s not just spicy, it’s spicy with taste. They are not stingy with their portions. It’s a typical Israeli style restaurant, but with good food. The servers are extremely friendly maybe even too friendly. If you know the meaning of good food, you will really enjoy it! And btw.. I have ordered in the passed via there App, it’s the best thing! It’s easy simple and fast. Enjoy”
