“My husband and I often have brunch or lunch at Fig&Fennel and we love the food there. When deciding where to have my 30th birthday party a few people mentioned that Fig&Fennel do private events in the evening - wow wow wow! Lee was great! The food was absolutely fantastic - all my guests commented on the huge variety of food on the night and how delicious it all was. I would not hesitate on having another event with Lee and staff at Fig&Fennel and can't wait to go back for brunch soon! Thank you.”

“Lovely little pub in the heart of Poynton. Good seating area out the front and a covered, well-ventilated area at the back. Good range of beers (weihenstephan my personal favourite) and wine. Cheerful staff, helpful and accommodating. Toilets are always clean. Glad to see it survived lockdown!!”

“Great restaurant for a family meal! We decided to book a table for the night we arrived at a campsite close by since we knew we wouldn't want to cook after setting everything up. Food was excellent and perfect for sharing - me and my son had the hog Mac and cheese which was delicious , and the frickles were particularly awesome! Everything here seems to be generously sized and the desserts were amazing - definitely need to have frozen custard again!”

Absolutely amazing coffee, and I was so glad to be able to order some beans online to have at home as sadly I live quite a distance away from my nearest store. “We dropped by here for lunch arriving at 12 noon. Already this venue was popular but had plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of staff who were friendly knowledgable and created a good atmosphere. A real highlight from the kitchen was the Gluten Free Menu. It was extensive and included a gluten free version of the majority of the main menu. In addition to the GF menu there was a vegan menu and they also catered for those avoiding specific allergens. An excellent GF beer was also available. It was a real pleasure to eat & drink here and we will be visiting again soon.”

“We visited just before Xmas for brunch, what a gorgeous place! we absolutely loved the dark décor and wooden floors, stylish yet very cosy! Our server was really attentive, and chatty, and our food arrived very quickly and was delicious - you can't beat Cheshire smokehouse sausage & bacon! - We can't wait to return with the family!”

“The food is always good quality, it seems to have become a little bit more expensive than our last visit. £15 a Tandoori Mixed grill, mains around £13 with rice extra. The staff were helpful and attentive and alcohol prices reasonable for a restaurant. Top marks for getting the No Fresh Coriander right and for pointing out that one of the relishes had coriander leaves in it. Prices still the same, so relatively cheaper! Still the same quality and friendly staff.”

“I love coming to frankies wine bar. It's a great place for food and drink. They have good music artists on ever so often. The staff a friendly. We had a pram and they let is into the back room to have food which was nice.”

“Another 5* experience at the Grove today. I was able to speak to the wonderful chef Haz who adapted a dish to accommodate my husbands ( numerous) food allergies. My chicken flatbread was amazing too. Lovely welcoming staff. Really worth a visit.”

“Probably one of the best costa establishments I have been too. Let me start by saying that the staff are so friendly and nice. It’s a really chilled coffee shop, which is nice to come and grab a coffee and if you wanted many different cake selections. Once again the staff members are so welcoming and that is probably the number one reasoning behind it being the best one I have been too.”
