"Food and room were fabulous, but we were disappointed as we were told we could have the function room until 7pm. This was not so as the staff refused to serve drinks after 5pm. Thank goodness this did not spoil my daughters baby shower."

"DON’t STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO RELAX!!! We stayed at Frankies wine bar and lodge for a one night getaway to attend a 40th birthday party. Our room was tiny, our bed was tiny and lumpy and the quilt was an even smaller blanket that barely covered us both. Myself and my husband are not big people. The carpet in the room, from other guest’s shoes, was a bit dirty and that made us want to constantly walk from the bed to the bathroom in socks or shoes. In the morning, I thought I’d make myself and my husband a cup of tea but I had to fill the kettle from the bathroom tap and there was only one sachet of sugar. Our room was situated on the ground floor, right on the road so we could hear lots of noise from outside until about 1AM when the bar closed. It also sounded like we shared a wall with the club and there was loud, pumping music until about the same time. With all that in mind, the people are friendly and helpful, the bathroom in our room is nice and there is a cupboard with a light to hang your clothes. The room was clean (apart from the carpet). Was a cheap place to stay for one night but I won’t be returning."

"I love coming to frankies wine bar. It's a great place for food and drink. They have good music artists on ever so often. The staff a friendly. We had a pram and they let is into the back room to have food which was nice."
